Wow, so much going on here. I have been trying to stay up to date with things but don't have much time to post anything.

My GF's recovering pretty good. She's still staying at the Queer Quadplex which is good since there's always someone home and able to drive her appointments.

The S/D aspect of our relationship has done some good for me. In past relationship I only had the illusion of making decisions but now I actually have to make them, myself. A great example was over the weekend. She had just said she was hungry. So I gave my preprogrammed response and asked where she wanted to go.  I was promptly told "No, you decide. We will go wherever YOU want." Honestly, it's a hard habit to break.

I finally mustered up enough motivation to finish my kitchen. And I'm still looking to sell my house by the end of the year. Through a complex series of events (sometimes my life is a Rube Goldberg machine) I should be able to move out in 2-3 months and get my house listed.

Have a good night everyone.❤️

Honestly, this is a good habit to break. The normal pattern for lesbians is to ask the other partner where they want to go or what they want until one of us starves. I don't know why we're like this.

It sounds like a good relationship for you though Liz. I'm glad you get to experience this.

Hugs!

I'm like this too.    It was a thing that annoyed my ex.  I was supposed to be "the leader."

I am that way as well. Is that another indicator that someone is trans??? the world, may never know.

Well slowly getting our paperwork in for the pre approval. Have a couple places that we want to look at once it is done. The one that started it all is right across the street.

Have a good day.

It’s a wonderful cool clear morning in Milwaukee. Mornings like this makes the coffee taste extra good! Been up since 4 this morning but hey. Maybe I can finish work early today.

Well, no coffee for me today.

Kymmie I get were you are coming from. I never know when the tables might turn. It goes from makeup suggestions to clothes to you need to be male.

Oh you are wondering why no coffee?  Well, they don’t serve coffee where I spent the night, on the floor, in a concrete room, by myself, in orange pjs that had GCDC on the back.  All because of the kid with the gun.  Argh!

What does that have to do with you?

Because of the kid, the sheriff was called, as I live at the marina where he was shooting I was questioned.  The following night the same deputy came back with two others and arrested me on an outstanding warrant I knew nothing about.  Got my own cell because of being transgender.

Very upsetting

I have a 10:00 job interview tomorrow. Wife says just drive it, it should be fine. For the record, she's a nurse, not a mechanic.

Hannah,

I hope you find a way to the interview and getting your truck fixed.

Good morning

Major Dickinson is doing his duty today.  I have to find a lawyer.  That’s not going to be fun.  We also intend(ed?) to check on the progress of our unit today.  And something else, I don’t recall what that was.  My brain is rather scrambled.

turns out when I didn’t call my wife(they never gave me the opportunity), she started searching all over to find me.  She finally went to a local fire station, and a paramedic helped her locate me.  She was in the office waiting for me when I got out.  That choked me up.

it’s going to take a few days to get back to my regular posts.  Thanks for caring.  You all are a great bunch of friends!

Hugs with wet eyes

About to click out and I notice that a loose gas cap can be the culprit. Wait a second, the light came on right after I left the gas station. We t down to my car to check, even though I thought, I would have noticed it hanging by its tether. Opened the little door and, lo and behold, it's not loose. It's gone. $23 at the auto parts store, and game on. So I guess not everything requires panic.

Hannah, That problem is more common that people think. At work I see it at least once a week.

Speaking of work. Still waiting on my yearly eval. Not even any word on it. I'm going to ask the district manager next time I see him. While I am at it. I just may ask why I wasn't informed of me not getting the position I was working for.  While still not official. I keep hearing more and more about the other asst getting it. He has ideas on changing this or that. The territory sales rep was in yesterday. He was raving about how he got a couple complements on the asst.

I am getting so fed up with the whole thing. I still have this feeling that the main reason I am getting the shaft is that I am trans. However I cannot prove it. I just may start looking for other employment. However that will be after I find out if the home loan goes through. That will dictate my next move.

On a better note. Since I am a descendant of King Henry the 5th. I am now Lady Kymbrill. LOL

@Willow not letting you make your phone call is terrible and illegal on their part. Make sure you tell what ever lawyer you get. Having your wife worrying about your and learning of your arrest from the fire dept. You may have a law suit brewing.

How barbaric not serving coffee, I hope you were able to get some once you got home.

Hugs to all, big hug to willow.

Lady Kymmie

Anyone in the Chicago area want to get a late lunch/thrift shopping afternoon in with me on Sunday May 16? I have an electro appointment that Monday. Normally I see my kid but he leaves the day before to be a traveling actor up in Montana for the summer. He's part of a professional Sharkspeare in the Park troop. I might have dinner with his GF later in the evening.

I cannot figure out the woman I married. While putting away the clean cloths what do I find a new black nightshirt. In with my clothes. She opposes my transition. Yet, she buys me woman's clothes. They just appear form out of no where. First was the denim skirt at Xmas, now this.  I guess it is a mystery like how many licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop. THe world may never know.

Lady Kymmie.

My mom has been more accepting of me being trans lately and even promised i could get a binder if i pay with my own money. The preferred name is still an issue. So far my mom, close friends and brother know i identify as trans but no one else does. I recently told mr grandparents about my partner and explaines the perferred name as a nickname they prefer to have. Luckily everyone who knows is accepting but i feel like i still have so much progress to make. Started getting more uncomfortbale being reffered to as my deadname and she/her in public. My therapist is getting me a trans pin for my birthday next time I see her. I have hop but sometimes I feel like the goal is so far. HRT and top surgery are things i know i want but there has been warnings given to me about the problems that come with it from the ones that have accepted me and I trust most. Mainly from the adults in my life that know, also been getting nervous many people dont see me as a man but i also go to an all girl school. being consistenly reffered to as women has started to get to me and have had urge on several occasions to write perferred name on paper. i dont think pereffered name can go into school system due to being catholic school and for graduation diploma we have to contact the person in charge and ask. I just need some advice on what to do, I am thank ful for the advice everyone had given me, made me feel better about future and hope that I can transition but also worry about familial ties and affect. due to most f them being born in the 80's and 90's and not taking it well originally mostly based on my moms reaction. I love my family alot but how they might react is scaring me. my mom still donesnt want them to know. I know they love me but when I eventually come out and medically trasition in several years hopefully, what will happen? there are little kids in the family and I already dont see them a lot, how would their parents react? what would they say to the kids? I know my aunt would not take it well due to political belief and warnings from cousins.

Maybe.  But they'd probably resent being required to do it.   IDK.  You have to show ID to register already.  And you have to be registered to vote.

Hah! Woke up the Red Scare!   I’ve never read Marx. I tend to believe in the inherent goodness in people. I let their words and deeds change that. Insisting people are immoral/less than/should not exist, stripping them (or keeping them from) human rights, is an a most basic example of true evil. What evils do LGBTQ+ people present simply existing? How does the Right justify their crusade against us? What justifies the manufactured fear and loathing they spout every day about us?

Congrats on the new addition @Ivy I have the opposite I have 4 grandson and a granddaughter. 3 of whom are visiting this weekend. I am feeling better. I think the biggest thing is that I got some much needed sleep.   Well gotta go and speed sometime with the grandsons.   Kymmie

I saw this concert in which it is said that the famous phrase of Jon Landau "I saw the future of rock and roll and his name is Bruce Springsteen" comes from that night. By the way Bruce opened for Bonnie Raitt that night and she was the better performer . . . just sayin'.

Astronomy and astrophotography.  I have done a few public presentations on the subject and could most likely wing it for an hour without putting you to sleep.   On the other hand if you need a sleeping pill, I could also talk for an hour about flying and you'd be out cold.

Please consider joining us, even if it's just for a few minutes to see what the meetings are like. I've learned so much, had so much fun and gained confidence in myself just by being a part of this amazing group of people. It's a low key, no pressure, non-judgmental chance to just be among people who are supportive, understanding and affirming of each other.    I'm travelling out of state and still planning on dropping in for awhile.    Come see what it's like!!

Thank you, Susan!! It was such an amazing experience for me. I can't remember if I even talked about it on a Zoom meeting.   Here is the link to the post I made about it. And, again, thank you for helping to give me the courage to do it.
