Feeling spunky today so broke out the pleather. Cami top with the denim thrown over that to hide my tattoos I don't like. Black flat heel ankle booties for shoes. Celtic "clover" necklace and some shamrock earring complete the look.

Maddie et al going to the Chicago electro place: how do they do the "numbing?  Is it a whole bunch of shots?  I'm doing the hour per week schedule here at home but my person says she wants to retire next year and I don't think we will get done in time.  I really want to be done by fall before my facial surgery. We've almost cleared the upper face and a lot of chin but haven't touched the neck/jaw line lower lip.  The "cleared"  area still has regrowth that we are always cleaning up.

Trying out my look for the new job. Would you trust me with your kid?

I mean assuming that you didn't actually KNOW me. I get that nobody here would leave me with ANYBODY unsupervised. ?

Hugs!

WOW Jackie- I love the whole thing!  I haven't seen this wig before. What a great colour and shape for you.  As for the trust thing, I don't think you will scare the parents off ;)

Thank you!

Yeah, the wig is new. I'll be working with autistic kids (well, kid) and something easier with less things to grab on to seemed like a good plan. I LOVE having long hair, but it's not practical for this job.

I still worry. I'm big enough that... I've been told anyway... I can be a little intimidating.

Hugs!

OK Friends, as soon as I get that stimulus I plan on headed to Chicago for electrolysis. Any reasonable place in Chicago that does a good job and doesn't charge an arm ans a leg for a girls face and is trans friendly.

It's been a bit of an important day today. Firstly, I saw my dentist as Niamh today. I had called the receptionist a few days ago and said I may present either as my male or female self and when I turned up as Niamh they welcomed me as her. Then this evening I attended a Zoom session that was the anniversary of the day I first met others as my female self. So this is what I wore...

Nice! I like the overwrap thing. I'm going to need some of those as the company guidelines forbid bare arms and I really like to wear tanks when it's hot.

Sounds like a wonderful day (except, you know, DENTIST ARGHHHHH).  You rock the sundresses!

Not sure if they are called something different outside the UK, but these are called a Shrug, similar to a Bolero but made of a soft fabric.

IMG_0083.heicGot up this morning, took my morning stroll "down the hill", and found this one.

Spring is on the way, here even.

Today is the new moon and I'm feeling pretty optimistic for a change.  Got birds in the yard and squirrels running all over.  Resisted the urge to check the news, which always helps as well.

So what if it might rain.  Rain is good too.

Hope it is a good day for all.

I love you dresses and would love to copy some of your style but I don't think it would look nearly as good on me.

Oh! I have one like that in dark blue. It's too cold for it here though. Not quite yet. Maybe it'll have warmed up enough for it by the time I'm done running errands. Today's plan is to break in my new waterproof sneakers by walking to the pharmacy for my asthma inhalers... after I make the bank run and a trip to Target. Mostly I just want to walk around in the sunshine.

Hugs!

I am about 5 weeks ahead of you ... best wishes to you! For me it has been subtle changes at most so far (if any) ... but I am also on the "beginner's" level of patch, lol ...    Easy

Oh, another comment.   I am a conservative evangelical with strong Republican leanings. So is my wife, my friends, my family. I disagree with a good amount of what the Republicans are doing, but there it is.  I understand the mindset, I think, a lot better than those who are outside it do.   When you insult Republicans you insult me, my friends, my family.   People like me can struggle with trans issues.   Please consider that in posting.

      Then you are in despair.

I found this as well. No playacting, they just appear: the finger waggle wave; bracing my elbow on my other arm that's folded across my chest, wrist in the air half-cocked; walking a bit more fiercely... All that. My wife thought I was mocking her at one point!

I find my lack of time to read the thing frustrating, and I will not really comment until I have read it.  This is a wholly inadequate response.   1.  I think there are some legitimate concern.   2. Thoroughly discussing this will consume many threads.   3. I disagree partially with @MaeBe but there is partial agreement.   4. The context includes what is happening in society that the authors are observing.  It is not an isolated document.   5. Trump, if elected, is as likely to spend his energies going after political opponents as he is to implementing something like this.    6. I reject critical theory, which is based on Marxism.  Marxism has never worked and never will.  Critical theory has problems which would need time to go into, which I do not have.   7. There are groups who have declared war on the nuclear family as problematically patriarchal, and a lot of other terms. They are easy to find on the internet.  This document is reacting to that (see #4 above).   8.  Much of this would have to be legislated, and this is a policy documented.  Implementation would  be most likely different, but that does not mean criticism is unwarranted.

Sort of bracing myself for flipping, because I am wearing f and of course I wear f and it is natural to wear f and what else would I wear?  The  novelty is long gone out on this.  I wore a bra most of yesterday but we had a Zoom call and I took the bra off because I was concerned about the straps showing.  I missed it.    My body is saying "I am female!  Treat me that way!"   In the past it has screamed about this activity that  I have done to it.

This is what I'm scared of.  And it's quite possible. Apparently Chicken Little was right.

Finally I  am back online   I had to use the help of the contact form (not proud  of that, I always feel embarrassed and shy about contacting people), but here I am   missed all of you
    • atlantis63
I'm not happy to admit this, but I usually scream or break things.   Breaking things became a bit of a no no, because It was always a cd or something I liked and it got very expensive to replace stuff

Probably amusement parks. I've never been to one sadly, but I think I could talk for an hour about them without any problem

The name "Mississippi" comes from the Anishinabe tribe of Native Americans; the word means "Father of Waters."
