My neighbor lady  called me and said she needed help  cooking some cakes  for her church and she wanted to make a few for her family that is coming up for a visit on Thursday.

She doesn't drive so I didn't mind at all.

We had a great time cooking all afternoon. She is bad for taking selfies and I didn't realize she grabbed my phone and snapped a pic of me and never said a word .

I found the pic later after she had already went home.

I just noticed...we all look happy.  Isn't that something.

Once upon a not that long ago, I read a random comment from someone who was enjoying a transition timeline video. The part that stuck with me was, "I love looking at transition before and after. I love looking at the light in their eyes after they transition into their true selves."

I think there's a lot of truth to that. I know there's a certain animation to me now that was not present five years ago.

Hugs!

I believe that when we transition our inner peace finally comes out and takes the place of all the frustration we had been going through. It was one of the most happiest moments in my life.

This picture my wife took of me last summer, I had lost all my hair and was re-growing it. Loosing my hair was like loosing my identity, I was scared to go back out in public, but I survived.

I agree Linda Marie.

Some of us change so much even people we used to run into now and then don't recognize us.

Thats OK with me because I don't want to remember some of them.LOLOL

Everyone is looking so good! Be proud of yourselves, my peeps. I tried to upload a pic of my newest outfit but it would not work.

This would be very hard for me to get through. @Linda Marie, you’re obviously a very strong woman to be able to get through that kind of difficulty. Hair issues of any kind are so hard for me.

Early in my transition, a few days before a big family reunion to meet everyone as Susan, I went into a deep depression from simply experiencing a horrific haircut/style on my first salon visit. I’m glad you were able to get past your hair debacle successfully.

You look wonderful and I love your dress.

My wife told me, it is not how we look on the out side, it is how we look on the inside.

Very true, however, as people keep misgendering me, it crushes my inside and it becomes harder to remember the truth. BTW, as Susan said, your a strong woman.  I'm not sure what I would do if I lost my hair. It has been such an integral part of my identity my entire life.

Had to run out to the store.  It was kinda chilly and the sweater felt good.

I played Easter bunny and handed out candy at work. The basket is actually on my desk year round but wanted to make today special.

Today I went with this, as far as my hair, it is coming along nicely. I want all here to know I shaved it off. I was faced with a battle

with the gov. and insurance company, they would not listen to a trans so I shaved my head and finally won the battle.

Yeah, I fell 20 feet and crushed my chest, I wasn't expected to live but I did, that pissed them off, and they refused to pay

a -transgender-, $100,000. I was faced with losing my house and went to war with them as David, and 2 years later I finally won.

As far as the money, all I did was pay the hospital bill off with it, and went back to being me and I retired.

I still have my federal insurance for life, and pension, all because I shaved my head and showed them I am not a push over.

Well done  and I am glad it turned out in your favor.

I tried to get SSDI because my condition made me unable to do my job of 40 years but I got nowhere even with a good attorney.

I got out of the house to walk my dogs. I'm no beauty queen, but I did learn to smile again.

As far as battling for your rights concerning money, never give up.

Hugs,

LM♥️

I got out for a while today hoping to find some  clothing bargains.

Found some nice items but none that I just had to have.

Not sure.  The perp is a minor.  The problem here is NOT transgender, the problem here is incompetent and criminal administration.  See https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/family-of-loudoun-co-student-sexually-assaulted-ineptitude-of-all-involved-is-staggering/3231725/ It is more than annoying that people think the problem here is TG and that other people think the solution is some stupid statewide law.  Like an appendectomy to deal with an ingrown toe nail.    Since Loudon, I recall a boy was asked not to use the girl's restroom at a high school by one of the girls.  He, overwhelming her with height and weight,  assaulted her, claiming he had a right to be there.   Later I think eight girls beat him severely in another girl's restroom.  Again the problem is not transgender, the problem is assaults in restrooms and common courtesy.  TG is used as a smokescreen and it seems to paralyze thought among administrators who do not want to do anything to provoke controversy.

Time to get with your Primary Care doctor and be referred to a neurologist or an orthopedist.  It could be many things, too many for any of us here to guess at.

Other than the Boy Scout motto, oath, and law. I use two:   When asked how I'm doing? In all honesty I reply. I would have to make something up to complain. If asked to explain further: I reply. I know someone is having a tougher time than I am, and I pray God blesses them.   I also recite this quote that I have tagged in my signature: Courage, doesn't always roar. Sometimes it's the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."-Unknown    Saying these things daily keep me motivated.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

If this goes on, I am conceding the real possibility of being stopped in WM or somewhere by a concerned citizen who tells me, "Lady, God made you female.  I don't think you should be trying to look like a man. You need to return to your true gender and be comfortable living your life out as a woman."   Begin odd and awkward conversation.  I have been thinking about this this morning.

There are many MAGA GOP types who are not transphobes, of course. Some MAGA GOP types are transgender.

I'm hoping to read the next section today.  Many of the reforms they are calling for are good, such as expediting the military procurement process, and have nothing to do with transgender issues.

Good afternoon,    I have a young friend who is vegetarian and married to a full on meat eater. They have two areas of their grill clearly designated for their different cooking requirements. When she’s cooking she uses tongs or chopsticks to handle any meats. When he’s cooking he respects her request not to cook her meals on the side where meat has been. They get along fine and respect each other.    When she attends our house, she usually brings her own food, but knows I will clean my grill to meet her requirements. We love and respect her commitment to be vegetarian. I love that she trusts me to make her comfortable when visiting us. There are ways to make it work.    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

I was going to call it Numbness, then I realised well.. it isn't. basically, yeah, it isn't.   this only happens to me sometimes. I'll be lying down and my legs will.. well, I guess lock?   If I straighten them out, they will unlock- when I roll over again, they will lock again. this lasts for around 10/ 15 minutes I guess   it's not pins and needles either

so, a close friend wants to cook for me   the issue is, she is a vegitarian and won't handle meat- I, on the other hand, won't handle vegetables- hate the things   every time she goes out to the shop, she comes back with something.. a cake, a fruit smoothie, a coffee, I won't eat any of it. please help me think of something that she could make for me that I'll actually eat   disclaimer: you are talking to the most pickiest eater in the world. good luck
