According to my Endo, progesterone is kind of a crapshoot. It helps some girls, it doesn't help others and the effects are not well documented. I can't say for sure if it's helping me one way or another, but I feel more like myself with a system full of progesterone so I'm sticking with it.

Jackie,

    Does progesterone make you sleep like a vampire under a castle at noon-day?   I get 8hrs of sleep in about 5 hrs and a tree would have to fall on the house to wake me up.    Estrogen puts me in girl puberty, but adding  Progesterone seems to add a big, soft, wonderful, ---lazy---aura around me.   I'm always a bit behind on my chores, but I don't seem to be concerned about it much.

Yes. Always take your progesterone at night. I've got MAYBE an hour after I take it before I'm OUT. Absolutely makes me more languid too. I can get stuff done, but the urgency is generally gone. Well, mostly gone, I've got an overactive punctuality gland. Definitely easier to fall asleep though. If I'm not doing something, my brain goes, "Great! Sleep now?"

 

Of course I slept like a corpse before too.

Jandi I have been told by my doctor that trans-medication is a new field and that in the last 10 years many things have changed and are changing all the time as new information is compiled.   Also trans-women are far more complex and unique with massive differences between them.   You can't blanket-treat them as a group and HRT needs to be in their personal Goldie-locks zone.   I've changed doctors a couple times to find someone who is up to date, but safe.

Not healthy, I stopped because I will never attain what filters will do.  BUT, your eyes aren't far off. But since the face/lips aren't done as much, it looks imbalanced.

To be honest, I don't understand makeup.  I have some I was gifted, but no idea what to do with it.  One of my daughters put some on me once, but I thought it looked like shyte - looked like a corpse.

But then I am kinda old anyway.

Filters have their place and they are a fun way to study how make up works.

I still have good and bad make up days.

Can be frustrating to have to start all over again several times because you messed up.

Its a learning curve indeed.

Yeah the filters I know aren't accurate, but it's like being able to preview what I could look like in the future and it not actually looking like someone else's face.

Mary Kay as an app where you can pick out the various products and do a makeover using your pic. No filters per se, just "adds" the products in a way that it's supposed to be done. Pretty cool

Went shoe shopping with my sis for the first time in a year( and as Bri). we didn't find any shoes but I did find this Eddie Bauer tank dress with built in shelf bra at a thrift store!

I HATE shoe shopping in stores. It always makes me feel dysphoric. None of the shops around here (and a lot online too) stock size sasquatch.

 

As for that dress... That's going to look awesome after your BA. Good find!

Thankfully I seem to be shrinking already. I was 6'2" with a size 13 in men's shoes in high school. I remeasured when my oldest got taller than me and now I'm like 6' even and can comfortably fit in a size 10 shoe.
