I'm super-casual at the moment. Just a dark greyish-blue excersise tank and my burgundy satin-ish sleep shorts (they have a nice little bit of lace detail on the sides, though.)

I received my online order of a boatload of cheap low quality scrunchies this morning, so I'm also enoying a cute high ponytail. Naturally, being me, I went straight for the pinkest scrunchie I could find :D

Latest shopping spree at the sidewalk sale made me realize I need more tommy bahama dresses in my life sound found this on Poshmark for $25.  I love it because it fits my small boobs ok now but i'm gonna rock this dress with c/d cup sizes in a month!  Shoe pics to follow later this week

I do like that dress. It would go pretty good with my hair.

@Bri2020 - I don't see the need for FFS but whatever makes you feel better. You look beautiful and each time I see you you look more and more feminine. Love the dress and you look wonderful in it. Wish I could say the same - but - I am happy with my own progress for what it's worth.

@Elizabeth Star and @Bri2020 - don't say just the HRT - what's your secret?

it might be that we both present pretty much full time and so we get to own and express our femininity non stop. No point in trying to hide it so let it shine. I think that confidence is what you see. (and we're both just gorgeous so...  lol)

thank you but I still feel like there are some small giveaways that I can't "unsee". Plus, Kaiser's paying for it so.....

I'm sure you have had lots of progress and I've only seen you pics from almost a year ago but I always thought you had a definite femininity about you. We tend to not to see these things ourselves.

@Bri2020 I suppose you are right. But I still don't think you need FFS.... so there ?

Yes! I am happy to be me 24/7. And I think self care is doing it’s part too. Oh, and as it turns out (been told by a lot of different people) I’m kinda cute. Which is a good thing since I’m sort of stuck with this face. Although my insurance covers a lot financially they’ve got a heads or tails approach with what they’ll cover for surgeries.

Hi, sorry no pictures.  But my wife and I went shopping today.  Our usual store which is Belk for all you Southern Gals.  They carry a brand I particularly like, Ruby Rd.  I have several outfits from there, dresses, slacks, tops.  Today’s haul, I got a pair of jeans and a top I really like and a second top.

My wife bought a dress, a pair of jeans and a couple of T’s.  I tried on another maker’s dress but I didn’t like it enough for the price.  I had another pair of jeans with us to try on but didn’t have to.  I slipped down to a 12 most of my pants are 14s.  My wife also managed a 14P in Ruby Rd.  We have a couple of their dresses that we share interchangbly.

Good day shopping.

It's been quit a while since I've worn this jacket. It looks much better on me than it did on "that guy".

Love that jacket. It looks much better on you. Can't even imagine wasting it on some guy. ?

Hugs!

Jacket looks good.
Makes me wonder about adding some of the old guy stuff to the mix.

Just got back from a topless Jeep trip for some groceries. Knotted up Jeep hair kinda sucks. It's my fault, I forgot to grab a scrunchie to get it all under my doo-rag but I feel I still looked pretty good.

WOW! I don't think I'd be brave enough to drive around in ANY car topless. Let alone a jeep.

I like what you're wearing though. I need more things with spaghetti straps.

Hugs!

So yesterday I went to my Picnic Group who meet at the park. (In a more flamboyant outfit). I'm not out to all of them but feeling more comfortable to express my new self without fear or a need to stifle myself. I can't stop change in the world and I certainly can't stop change in myself-- or in my words or behavior. I find that's the most important change for me at this point. Just being me . . . just naturally leads to freedom from the repression, if I let it. And I will let it.

cheers,

Davie

Jackie, it’s a Jeep thing.  Topless or Nude. The less the better on a nice day.

wishing I could go topless but I’ve got no place to put my tops right now.  That’s what I get for living out of a suitcase.

Kymmie, it’s not as much the open air as it is the terminology this time.  I get riding.  Started with a mini bike, then two different Honda’s eventually a Triumph America and last a Harley Ultra Classic.  That, I rode from the top of Virginia to Biketober Fest in Florida and Back over 1000 miles each way.  Talked about going to Sturges but never made that one.

what is it you ride these days?  I know you go two up, with a pony tail.

I can remember as a teenager being a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints and living in the bible belt. It was always a little hard-I think religion is just tricky anyway.    I was referred to a couple of ladies at church by my mum who gave me very good advice.  One has known those who are are trans- and how they approched it.    The other has two people in their life who identify differently. They also gave other ideas to assist me.     I do like ideas though.

If I am leaving the house I will almost always do makeup.  Not over-the-top but enough to feminize my face (eye shadow, mascara), lipstick, and a light cover of a concealer and foundation. I found my favorite lipsticks are Maybelline.  But the concealer/foundation I 'discovered' in Neutrogena Hydro Boost - Hyaluronic Acid based.  For 'older' gals like me I find it moisturizes and doesn't dry into those annoying fine lines (I have enough of those already).    Hopefully, after facial hair removal I might not feel the need as much.

Actually the bill seems to be so thoroughly confusing that I doubt that enforcement is even possible.  It could however incite vigilante style actions.  A false accusation against a "looks challenged" Cis woman is very likely to happen early on.  So what will happen in the case of those situations?  I have a script in mind over the sad average looking daughter of one of the legislators getting tangled into one of those situations.  I don't know whether it would be a comedy or a tragedy at the minute.

I don't know yet. I'm sure there is going to be a big crowd. I also would have to keep up with the kids and probably won't enjoy myself mostly.
    • Ashley0616
I can understand that. My Keurig is used for hot water mostly and when my mom comes. I mostly use a regular coffee maker. I have had that for 5 years now. I had a Bunn but it didn't last long. I also have a French press and rarely use that. I would love to get a cappuccino maker but that is for later on. Starbucks is getting expensive. My kids favorite thing there is the cake pops. I found out that Walmart Neighborhood Market has them. Typical me getting off topic. lol

After many years in denial, I have finally acknowledged my femininity. After quite a long life, so much time has been wasted. Now I feel I am too old to enjoy the freedom I now feel. All I can contribute to those who need to embrace their true gender, be BRAVE and don,t waste time!

Well, welcome M.A. Several of my now grown kids were involved in theater in school.  And one is now a graphic designer.

Wow what a busy day today.  Clearly the summer crowd is coming into town.  Doesn’t hurt that we have a PGA event here.  It is limited to 100 players. But the spectators is where the crowd is.   i alone more than doubled my usual sales.     we keep hearing thunderstorms however they are staying just west of us for now. The storms in western Tennessee right now are supposed to be here in the morning.

Edit: Latest album is called "Drumless". My bad. The name of their tour is Drummer.

My gen z cousin & her gf were visiting the last few days. We are a very, very small contingent of queer members of our family & we stick together. She and her gf introduced me to G Flip. They recently attended a concert and said it was the best concert ever. They were playing G Flip in the car and I was impressed by the vocals, the lyrics, the influences, and the percussion (G is also a drummer). I love a nonbinary vocalist (not that we get to hear so many...yet...) because the freedom from gender performance shines forth. I could hear influences from many styles of music I loved in the 90s, but all blended together in a joyfully percussive way. G Flip is rad! I would post a link to some tracks or an album, but there are explicit lyrics which would go against community rules - you can easily search youtube yourself if you're interested; their latest album is called "Drummer". But here is a picture of G who is serving us gorgeous nonbinary vintage Axl Rose!
