I have two black pairs. I’ve only worn them two or three times and they’re already covered in little lint balls. Both pair!

Me too.  I got some while at my daughter's house.  Her SO keeps the house cold.  The leggings are just the thing for under a skirt in those conditions.

@Bri2020 Thank you so muchfor the suggestion! I have some shapewear from Va Bien (same brand as my bras) that I wear with certain outfits but I do not often wear it. Instead I am looking to define a figure using structured clothing and strategic accessories. I learned so much from watching the show What Not To Wear!

Would it bother any of you if I posted picks as I am now, with facial hair? Until and unless I go through HRT I have no intention of giving it up, no matter how much it conforms to gender norms: in fact, because it conforms to gender norms. I still feel pretty in my (still very limited amount of) dresses, in spite of my mutton chops.....

Let me expand on that: those of us who can, I feel should challenge gender norms. I fought coming out for years because I did NOT want to harm this community by being, er, confusing

I can't imagine it would offend anybody. A dear friend of mine doesn't shave either. If your dysphoria lets you appear as you are, go for it.

 

Honestly, I'm a little impressed by your strength, I HATED my facial hair... well, all my male hair really. Good on you for being yourself. This is about feeling comfortable in your own skin after all.

When I first started wearing a dress, I had a long beard.  I did shave it soon after though.  

In my case I realized I was hiding behind it for years, trying to be a guy.

But it wouldn't bother me to see it.  Genderqueer is genderqueer.

 

There is a person on instagram "alokvmenon" that is covered in body hair.  Not my thing, but whatever.  

They have also put up a number posts on the history of gender non-conforming folks.  Kinda interesting.

@Jamey I agree with everyone, always be yourself and share in a way you are comfortable with. I cannot imagine anyone would be upset. If it helps... I know I was very uncomfortable early on sharing any images of my face or body. It took me a while to change my thinking and perception of myself, and a lot of work challenging those negative thoughts about myself. In time I got better at doing that. Eventually my feelings shifted and helped me not only see myself in a different and more positive light, but also more confident being my authentic self around other people.

Also, today's outfit, I am working from home. I adore this sweater! Both pieces are from Venus, wedge sandals by Bellini. Somewhere in my fantasy world it is still summer in NYC in December. If I go out I will absolutely change shoes, and wear my puffer coat.
