Before Charlotte was let out into the world I was quite possibly the laziest male clothes shopper anywhere on the planet.  My wardrobe never contained more than 3 pairs of trousers and 4 or 5 shirts, I was always running out of wearable socks and underwear.  Scruffy, and everyone knew it.  A mess.

 

Now, I'll spend an hour deciding which blouse goes with which skirt.  I'm running out of storage space.  I use the ironing board every day.  I've started buying something just to match something else I've already got.  I've bought a sewing machine.  I'll easily spend an hour in the morning just for makeup.  I bought nighties that match bed sheets and an apron just because the pocket matches the kitchen tiles.

 

Never again will I complain about how many clothes a woman owns or how long she spends in the bathroom.  I apologise to every woman I've ever moaned at.  I understand now.

My attire for half the day this last week.: 3 mm Bare wetsuit and a f$(% ton of equipment. It's all weightless underwater but getting it all there is a bear.  2 years ago I just slung 40 lbs tanks around like they were nothing. Now I have to carry things in stages to the beach. Overall, this setup weighs about 95lbs! No wonder the walk out of the water onto the beach sucks! But the payout when underwater is worth it. With this setup, IF I'm diving alone doing photos, I can stay down for almost 2 hours if I keep the depth to 50 feet of less.

And, for the first time in my life, I look good in a wetsuit!

@Bri2020... um, 90 pounds is basically nothing. I one-arm curl more than that tank weighs. Mom can do even more than that. We need to get you to the gym girl.

 

Fun story. Susan discovered my catalog to the Pyramid collection and was absolutely gushing about it. She was, "Did you see? Did you see?" all night. I eventually told her, "Um, yeah. That's where all my dresses come from. Why did you think we were on their mailing list?"

I’m not sure how to feel about that. Maybe a little intimidated. At my best I could only bench a 120lbs.

I only bench 160, different muscles. I can dead-lift 230 pretty easily and squat about 340. Carrying 90 pounds on my back is a pretty trivial weight. I use that to warm up on leg day.

 

My mom's been doing it longer and she can move about the same amount of weight. She's 5'3" and about 110 lbs. SHE's intimidating. Love that woman.

Just splurged and purchased this pair of booties from Torrid.  I've been looking for a brown pair and these spoke to me - they said: "buy me."  I love booties and all of my other pairs are black or some variation of black; so, these will be a nice alternative and should go really great with blue denim.
