I'm on my way to the Princeton Pride Parade in a rainbow skirt.  Spent some time decorating my power wheelchair so it's time to make a spectacle of myself and have some fun.

ladies I went with standard button front daisy' dukes n orange cotton top over lilac torrid bra n blue lace panties..later will change fir salon n church n work...probably tea length skirt n blouse..maybe denim mini to salon n plN on church in morning? but need to dress nicely for work this evening too..

That's nice.  The purse (which of course you can't see in the tiny pix) was from her as well.  She's cis, but an ally.  She was one of the first people I came out to.

I didn't feel good today at all so I rolled across the parking lot in this white tank, shorts, and a baseball cap to have some chicken strips. 

 

I must look really rough today because one very prim elderly lady kept glancing over my way, and another gent just sat there and stared during lunch. 

 

On my way out I passed by the gawking gent and told him, "take a picture it lasts longer".

And i've been in that situation with the stares.... sometimes it triggers my anxiety, and sometimes i can just say "who cares if they stare" and own it. Im trying to get myself to just say "this is me f you if you like it".

Nice one.  Doubt I'd have the courage to be confrontational like that...

 

I don't get stared at a lot.  I think that people make a lot of assumptions about my appearance rather than guesses.  When I do get stared at, I think it is people trying to figure out what I am from my androgynous appearance.  "Is that a boy or a girl?"  😏  Shirtless, nobody really stares.  Because only boys would do that around here in summer.  Its like it solidifies everybody's assumptions, and i like that. 

 

Today...my usual uniform.  Shorts and grass sandals.
