Not to sure if I personally would want to wear someone elses shoes or boots. I wouldnt endorse it myself but then again thats me.

But if you are i would recommend:

make sure that they are your right size and shape for your foot and that they don't rub
if they can tolerate it, put them into the washing machine let them dry thoroughly, preferably in natural light
try to replace the insole that comes in them. If you cant, an antimicrobial one would work
do they have hole or are they worn? Remember shoes have a certain life span,

theres is always a possibility if you do not follow the above. you can still get fungal, bacterial and viral issues from other peoples shoes though regardless. Especially if you dont know where they have come from.

Just saying

On the plus side they would be far to big for me. I only take a UK  5.5 or USW 7.5 Tiny feetLiL

Excellent advice MiB!!

Maybe I should reconsider.  It's just that almost everything I own, except underwear, was bought used, or found somewhere.  I don't know any other way.  But I can probably change as soon as the machine pays me what I'm worth lol.

I was usually keeping an eye out for cute shoes in larger sizes, because they are rare to find.... unless you're into spending large $ online.  My friend has size 13 so if I come across anything I text her a photo and pick them up if she wants. Im lucky enough, but it sucks to be over size 11 US

Someone mentioned lack of smiles, so this next image hopefully addresses that. Note that I've decided to risk wearing a work tee. I've covered up the logo a bit so that should offset any liability issues...hopefully. Wearing a tighter pair of ladies slacks than usual to the job and am using one of my homemade gaffs. With some luck I won't be too uncomfortable. ?

Also on display, my eye makeup for today.

Just an observation here.

I have been looking at the pics and reading the thread. I have noticed something.

Why is it some of you ladys never smile?

It cant be all that bad can it? From your words you are in your favorite outfits and choose to show them to the world as your authentic selves. You really should be in a much more happy disposition i would have considered.

Plus a smile would make your pictures shine so much more.

Please feel free to shoot me down if im missing the point!

@Maid In Bedlam You're not missing the point.  I realize many are absorbed in taking the photo but it really is a good idea to focus on looking accessible.  Women end to be easier to reach out to and to speak with.  Not so with guys.  Practice!  It also helps in fitting in and making friends too.

You're not wrong. I've been told I have a serious problem with "resting bitch face" when I'm wearing a mask. Even the one with the yellow smiley-face on it, which is weird, but there you go.

Hugs!

Overbite and crooked bottom teeth and discolored front tooth. I’ve never been self conscious of it before. I have an appointment with an orthodontist next month

I was taught some basics from my oldest daughter. The rest was YouTube tutorials and practice. Since I have have hooded eyes this is one of the few styles that work well for me. Aside from tightlining and the like.

I've been taking photos with me smiling, but I usually don't share those due how big and goofy my smile is. Also the aforementioned need to see my dentist though I probably imagine my teeth being worse than they are. ?

Yeah, I'm kind of hobbled here. I don't have actual eyelashes to use as a stencil with the eyeliner pencil and all my children are cats. You know how THEY are with their makeup secrets. It's all lick this and stare lazily at that. Pointless.

Of course my spouse neve wore makeup either so I'm adrift without a paddle as it were.

Honestly, you'd think fur babies would be more appreciative of their parents and help them out a bit.

I'm pretty sure they see me as "food-bringer," "giver of the pettings" and "furniture" depending on what they need from me in the moment. At 4:30 am, I am apparently also, "Waterbringer; she who turns on the faucet so that I may drink."

No makeup tips. I'd love to be able to do a cat's eye but the selfish little things won't share.

Hugs!

Make up took me a few years to actually get down to where it takes roughly 30 min to apply if I am going to a social affair of some kind. 15 min for just a regular day.

When it comes to make up less is more or shall I say looks more natural. Natural means passing easier.

Caked on make up is not a good look on a girl or Tgirl.

I have to use hypo allergenic eye liner and mascara or my eyes turn bloodshot.

I have to agree with you on this. there’s a girl that works at a store near me that I would never have clocked if she wasn’t wearing so much makeup.

After sanding, stripping, and painting a piece of furniture all week, it felt good to get dressed up for online group therapy.  I had a rough day, so tonight...more is more!

Your picture looks sooooo much better. See it doesnt hve to be a big cheshire cat grin. Just turning your mouth upwald instead of down makes that much diffrence. Look at the picture of the lovely @Ann W No teeth to see but still looks happy and approachable and dare i say enjoying being herself.

Oh and btw, Lovely eyes my dear.

But what do i know? Im just an observer.

Alright, point taken. ?

Why thank you. I actually messed up at one point and put the wrong secondary colour on one of my eyes lids. I'm glad my attempt to correct it worked reasonably well.

I certainly hope my makeup doesn't appear cakey. ?

Over doing it is also a lot more work and, IMHO, a bit overwhelming. I find something I want to learn regarding makeup and practice doing that one thing or technique until I get it down. Then if there's something else I find interesting I'll move onto that, else I'll "experiment" with modifying what I just learned or combining other techniques I've learned as appropriate.

It's years of experience as Tech Support. You learn to cultivate an aura of, "Is it worth your life to bother me?" My face falls back into that expression if I'm relaxed and not smiling.

Thank you for the nice comments.  I'm not trying to match the the room, there's just a lot of red in here.  I do have a thing for strong colors though.

Well said.    Although this so-called Project 2025 will not affect me directly in an immediate sense, it sends a signal to equivalent minded people and political parties around the world that it is okay to exclude minorities and indeed, to persecute them.   In my humble opinion, the far-right politicians know damn well that there is a very large cohort of less-than-intelligent people out there who are not capable of critical thinking and believe every skerrick of dog-whistling, fearmongering, "they're-out-there-to-get-you" rhetoric. Pander to their rural and village attitudes and you're on a winner!    Correcting them with logic and science won't work; they just double down and get louder with their petulance on full display.

Just waking up so I'm in my pajamas - blue/white madras shorts, a navy blue t-shirt and my sleep bra with sleep-rated breast forms.   Thank you @Susan R for telling us about your mastectomy bra and forms fitting experience before your BA surgery and how sleeping in the bra/forms helped with the dysphoria.    First, hearing about your courage to get fitted gave me the confidence and courage to go out in public.   And, second, finding sleep mastectomy bras and sleep-rated breast forms (I found a set on eBay for a good price) has been a tremendous boost to my feeling comfortable in my pajamas and nightgowns and tamping down my dysphoria and dysmorphia.

Germany has more castles than there are McDonald's in the United States. Yep, you heard that right. Germany is estimated to have 25,000 castles, and there are around 13,000 McDonald's locations in America.   In Washington state, there's a real-life law stating it's illegal to kill bigfoot and other sasquatch-like creatures.

DREAD f you’re anticipating something positive, you’re probably motivated to summon all your patience to wait for it—and sometimes for extended time periods. It may be counter-intuitive, yet in certain instances such waiting can itself be gratifying. Consider Carly Simon’s song “Anticipation,” the old Heinz ketchup ads, and—especially—recent research pointing in the opposite direction as regards awaiting something highly aversive. In this post I won’t be reviewing ketchup commercials, but I will be exploring some intriguing research on dread-infused anticipation.

So an update from me.   Had my endo appointment last night. Went very well and they are sending 3 months supply of estrogen (estradoil patches) and the anti-androgens whilst my Dr gets a shared care agreement sorted out. So happy, should start HRT tomorrow!! Cost for the 3 month supply is £70 total for me, so not too bad. Not told my parents about this yet, but them being in spain, not sure they need to know yet.   Can't wait to start, just got to think about where to put the patches now and wait for the changes...

Good Morning    well it’s Friday for most, pay day for some.  For me it’s pay day but not Friday.  I work the same opening shift tomorrow.  I typically have Friday on Saturday and Monday on Tuesday.     @KymmieL it does sound like your shop has an issue and you are smack in the thick of it.  The new gal or guy often is.  We have an issue with new people not getting fully trained before being turned loose on customers.  Some struggle through it and some quit because of it.  I try to get them working with customers as quickly as I can but I stay right with them observing, helping, even jumping in when things are getting backed up to keep the stress down.  Not everything comes up during training so when things do, even later after trying is done, I try to help and explain.  Our ASM feels that once she has you scanning barcodes and taking money she is done training.  Generally, refuses to train me on things that she does, and questions why I’m doing something that she normally handles when I’ve been told to do it as part of my advancement training.     She and the cashier involved both keep trying to toss the manager under the bus over a hours of work issue and shifts.  I tell her I realize her issues and I’ll work what ever she needs.  Because of that I tend to get a better more consistent schedule.   Well, time to say Happy Trails to you, until we meet again.   Hi ho Silver, away   Willow

That does get you the 'starting point' for cup size, but manufacturers, style, breast shape, etc... will effect the results.    Step one is of course finding the proper band fit, then figuring out the approximate cup size with the calculations. Of course you need to try on a few styles after that in different cup sizes close to your measured result until you get the perfect fit.    I have bras in a DD that fit just like my bras in DDD both from Torrid but different styles.    I have some DDD's that fit awesome and some that are a bit loose, but I measure a 46G. It's not wonder that 80% of women are wearing them wrong bra.
