I had tickets to see The Doors when they were to play in Providence, R.I. However, due to the mess that got him busted for exposing himself ini Florida, the show was cancelled. I was understandably crushed! There's a scene in the film where Densmore is rattling off the names of all of the towns that cancelled and he lists the one that I'd been so looking forward to. I never got another opportunity and so never saw them. 

I live in Portland, Oregon now and have for more than half of my life. I'm just up the street a ways from Reed College where a friend of mine was a student many long years ago. The Doors played there and he said that when the band came out to tune up it was just the three musicians. Then what he described as this dirty looking hippie came out and stood at the side of the stage just listening. My friend wondered if security would throw the guy out when all at once he ambled over to center stage, grabbed mike and began singing. Yeah, it was The Lizard King and I've been jealous of my friend ever since.

that is so cool  when i portrayed morrison i read everything about him and the doors and found it fascinating. sadly i never got to,see them. i remember the exact moment and where i was when i here Light My Fire and the band for the very first time on the radio and i was totally enthralled.

Mina Mazzini is perhaps my favorite singer.

I'm inclined to say Burn The Ballroom but I'm not sure if I'm picking them over MCR because the latter is super well-known and I like them both lmao
