Good Evening, one and all.

Having a good day enjoying the gorgeous weather. Currently 62 official degrees. Looking at 70 tomorrow and 72 Wed. Have been able to work on my projects. Did a little on the Explorer. Finally after having the parts for almost 18 months I got the Compressor in the Ranger up and going. Also, got the tweeter pods for the bike painted. Going to get them put on shortly. Now just have to wait for the new amp for the bike. The one I had for the bike wound up being bad. So, to avoid any problems I ordered a new one.

Go in for my consult on a replacement tooth tomorrow. I still am waiting to here from my endo on what direction she wants to go with my treatment. My T is down.(yeah) but my E is low she is checking on different options.

Have a wonderful rest of your day.

Hugs,

Kymmie

Good evening

My wife managed to make her connections on her own.  She was somewhat concerned especially when the first flight was an hour late.  Standby numbers and available seats kept changing but she made it.

Hectic day at work.  But in the end it went well.

Ran the place alone for several periods.  We have a newer than me worker.  He’s earned the behind his back nickname of Stinky.  He tends to take extended smoke breaks.  And for some reason we tend to get busier while he is out.  The last time while he was out my terminal locked up and I wound up having to use his for a while to keep the line moving.  When he finally came back I had him take the line while I attended to my terminal.  I had to shut it down and reboot it.  That takes a couple of minutes to get it back up.  As soon as I could I picked back up my share and before you knew it the line was gone.

I’m off the next two days.  I have laundry and errands to handle.

Willow

Good Morning 🌞

I have today off work as it's my birthday and always like to have a small break around Easter. I'm taking my son to see the new Dungeons and Dragons movie later.

Good morning, everyone!! Happy Birthday @kira_k! Have a wonderful day!!!

1st cup of coffee is working its magic so I'm semi-coherent at this point. Dogs are walked and fed so its time to read the paper. I have some small projects planned for around our property but, otherwise, a normal quiet day.

Stay safe and enjoy this day!!

Good morning everyone,:coffee:

Happy Birthday @kira_k enjoy your day at the movies.

Today is another day in the shop working on a Damage Control Pipe Leak Tree for Corona, CA Fire Academy. It's an arrangement of various pipes that have common types of plumbing leaks that public safety is called to handle, before a plumbing contractor arrives. It also has plumbing commonly found in chemical handling process, as well as fire department sprinklers. I'll finish it up today, deliver it to our crating company tomorrow, and they will ship it.

That leaves Thursday through Sunday for a Camping Trip to Wapakoneta, OH. This is the birthplace of Neil Armstrong and home of the Armstrong Air & Space Museum.

Hugs,

Happy Birthday @kira_k

@Dillon I hope everything gets better.

Well first day back to the grind. At least it is supposed to be nice. 75 forecast. All I get to do is drive around, avoiding the construction. I knew this weather wouldn't last we are expecting white crap on Thurs and Fri. However, I will enjoy the warmth in the mean time.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Hugs,

Kymmie

Oh, I'm sorry, hope your week gets better! I'm personally doing somewhat well, but failing to hand out campaign buttons.

That sounds really interesting. I hope you'll decide to post a photo of this project as well.

Thank you Dillion, attached you'll see the first one I built for a friend, and his department. I never thought I would be building 50 more. Today my business partner called and informed me that the New York State Fire Marshals Office ordered three more.

Good morning, everyone!!! Coffee intake has started, dogs are walked and fed and it's time to read the paper...pretty much my morning routine. I have some projects around the house today - and my therapy session - to keep me busy.

I am so happy that your brother has accepted you @ShawnaB!!

Life is so very good.

Be safe and enjoy this day.

Yes, life is good. I've got this week off work, we're going out for dinner tomorrow night for a small extended family gathering, the weather is OK, and I have other things to look forward to in the short term as well.

@ShawnaB I have also been reading your posts and I am very happy for you!

@MirrabookaI love that we're separated by a Dateline, and Equator, but still share a common experience socially. We're never alone, and gain comfort form kind people around the world. We are a global community.

Thank you again @Dillon, and @Ivy you are correct. So much for retirement, at best I'm semiretired. The good thing is I stopped traveling two weeks a month, and now I have time to casually build props.

@ShawnaBI'm glad you're able to build family support.

@April Marie, I love seeing your postings around the forums, you're such a positive influence.

Thank you.

Hugs for everyone,

Thank you, Mindy!! I have so little to offer in terms of experience here - I always try to employ the Triple P. The Power of Positive Pessimism. It might suck, but it can always be worse. 🙂

I do take such inspiration from your upbeat approach and encouragement. You've helped me tremendously as I've navigated my way though this new life. Just knowing that I can take my time, transition in ways that make sense and don't have to just leap in full blown has made it much easier to digest, and to enjoy. You are a rock star.

Hi TGPulse Friends,

My flight to CA? Stressful. My flight? Successful.

(Arrival at the airline airport gate:

“I'm sorry, your reservation has been cancelled. Would

you like to book a flight to Kafkaland, instead? It’s positively Kafkaesque!”)

But no problemo—I booked through a separate reality.

And I’m now forced to deal with a scene such as this

one below—exacerbated by wind chimes and sunshine.

Chance for survival? 99%.

happy trans birthday! I can't speak personally on the subject, but I hope hormones bring you the changes you're looking for <3

That’s super healthy, to see that something that becomes common has less effect on you and that you are able to decipher these feelings.   Sadly, this trend tends to only deaden good feelings as we tend not to let bad feelings attenuate the same way.   I have noticed less euphoria, but still feel the dysphorias that I have. Sometimes the good sneaks in and reminds me, but often time it’s just me seeing myself in the mirror and being comfortable about what I see when embracing my realized self. I may not get the same buzz I once did, but I don’t feel incongruous when looking at a more “drab” reflection.    Wishing you strength, you are amazing!

Congratulations! and Happy Trans Birthday @LittleSam! That is such a BIG milestone.  I can still remember walking out of my clinic with my first HRT presciption.  I was on Cloud-9.  Wishing you all the best in the start of your new Journey!

maebe thank you I try to be. I thank God for blessings, try to share them, beg forgiveness for my shortcomings n vow to try to do better...2 priests have said no, God doesn't condemn you just for being trans...but apparently evangelicals do   I shall vtry dear thank you
    • MaeBe
Meet him at the being good to others part of Christianity. At the heart of it, there are excellent tenets of the faith. Those that condemn are judging, Jesus would have us be selfless; stone casting and all that. Are you a good person? Are you putting good into the world? If your gender is an issue for God, let God judge. In the mortal realm, let your actions be heard.
    • missyjo
and just fi sweeten it..I'm catholic n he hasn't been for years..he's evangelical..whatever that is

Let’s stick to cite-able fact. Most of my posts have been directly in relation to LGBTQ+ rights as it pertains to P2025 and I have drawn direct links between people, their quotes, and their agenda. I have made reference to the cronyism that P2025 would entail as well, by gutting, not cutting, broad swathes of government and replacing it with “conservative warriors” (I can get you the direct quote, but rest assured it’s a quote). All this does is constantly force the cogs to be refitted, not their movement. To say that agencies have directly defied a President is a bit much, the EPA did what Trump told them to do at the direct harm to the environment, the department of agriculture did the same by enacting the administrations forced move to KC which decimated the USDA.      How about Betsy DeVoss for Education? Or Bannon for anything? What about the revolving Chief of Staff position that Trump couldn’t stay filled? Or the Postmaster General, who did much to make the USPS worse?   Let’s not mix politics with racism, sexism, or any other ism. Because Trump made mainly white, male, appointments—many of them not, arguably, people fit for service—or unwilling to commit to term. I can argue this because, again, he’s up for election and will do what he did before (and more of the same, his words).   Please delineate how the selected diversity appointments have negatively affected the US, other than being black, women, or queer? Representation matters and America benefits when its people are inspired and empowered.

When I first started figuring things out, I got a lot more euphoria. Every time a friend would use he/they pronouns for me, I'd get this bubbly feeling, and seeing myself look masculine made me really happy. Dysphoric state felt more normal, so I guess I noticed the pain it caused me less.   Now, it's more just that my pronouns and such things feel natural, and dysphoria is a lot stronger -- I know what's natural, so experiencing the opposite is more jarring than everything. The problem is, most of my natural experiences are from friends, and I rarely get properly gendered by strangers, much less by my family. I've found myself unable to bind in months due to aches, colds,, and not wanting to risk damage.    It partially makes me want to go back to the beginning of my journey, because at least then I got full euphoria. I'm pretty sure it'll be like this until I medically transition, or at the very least get top surgery (you know all those trans dudes online with tiny chests? Not me, unfortunately). It's a bit depressing, but at least I know that, eventually, there's a way out of this.

Major mood, right here ^^^    I've listened to Lumineers to a long time (a major portion of it by osmosis via my mom), so that is almost painfully relatable
    • RaineOnYourParade
As for getting a button-up/formal pants suit, you can try to talk to her more -- Cis women in tuxes have worn tuxes in recent years, after all, (for example, Zendaya) so it can still be a relatively safe topic. For jumpsuits, I'd recommend going with a simple one with a blazer, if you can -- this'll make it look overall more masculine. There's a lot of good brands, but going for one without a lot of extra glitz on it will make it look less feminine under a blazer. I don't know many specific brands though since I usually just get my stuff from chain stores, sorry :<   When it comes to your hair, if you can't cut it, you can look up tutorials on fluffing it up instead. If you can pull it off, it can look a lot shorter and more androgynous instead!
