Off to work on a spring morning!  Athleta jeggings with a sleeveless top that I love. Simple cardigan to keep me warm. I even did some makeup today. Happy Spring everyone!

Got a little yard work done today. Down to a tank top, I was still overheating and it's only 50 out.

Wow, you look stunning Bri....not only the outfit but I think with this length of hair, you have definitely found YOUR style. It works so well for you. I am amazed girl!

Hi All, it’s Sunday and after a casual breakfast my wife and I are headed out for some grocery shopping. I’m wearing P & B of course, a sweat shirt and leggings. With my long curly hair we sometimes hear “Did you ladies find everything you were looking for?” I love it when that happens but my wife doesn’t. I’m not out in my community so I take what I can get.

Spring is here and it’s going to be a great day to be out.

Huggs

When I take selfie’s my Adam’s apple is quite visible. When I look at the beautiful  pictures on this forum I don’t see any. How do you do you lovely ladies do it?

Watch which angle you take the picture.

Shooting from below the chin will make it more visible unless your chin covers that area.

Above looking down hides it most of the time.

I use matt style make up most of the time and that hides it pretty well.

Genetics, sorry. I really never had one.

There used to be a time I was a bit embarrassed that I didn't have a prominent Adam's Apple....

Thanks, I think it's all starting to fall into place. My next fashion challenge is planning for a "girls weekend" in Savannah in May.  I really want to do the shorts/t-shirt thing for the around town tour day but "clubbing with the ladies" has me flummoxed. I haven't been out "dancing" in 30 years and obviously, things are different with me and the world since then. lol

As mentioned, slightly above angle helps but like Jackie, genetics help too. I don't have much of one. It's visible in profile but not really from a front angle.

I don't notice mine in a selfie, but at my age I have a bit of loose, saggy skin.  Maybe being old has some advantages.

Wearing my blue dress today with black pumps. I've posted it before so won't again but my wife came home from a retreat yesterday and brought me back some gorgeous earrings! (She says she reserves the right to wear them if I'm not lol). I remember how people use to accuse men of buying self serving gifts for their wives. hahahaha

Don't mind the insanely swollen lip, I had major amounts of electrolysis yesterday.

I feel like you are about to host an updated fireside story show.  I seem to remember there use to be one with a British gent who started the show sitting by the fire.  LOVE the wedges!

A little on the cooler side today. Our 2019 tax returns finally came in and this is one of my new shirts. Have a fabulous day today.

Out and about today. Nice, long walk to the pharmacy because I still don't have a car.

Nobody tried to pick me up today. Apparently my appeal faded after 50.

It’s not so much about the outfit today as it is about new booties. First day wearing them and walking had been a new experience. I wouldn’t have ever thought 3 inch heels could ever be so comfy.

Oh @ElizabethStar, I like those boots! How are they for walking long distances?

That is indeed very bright @Niamh, not my style but you're completely pulling it off!

Y'all looking great peeps!

@JustineM don't you love when you have new things to wear?

@Niamhlove the bold look! I'm all about colour

@Jackie C.it's probably because they see your dark roots ;) lol

@ElizabethStarYea, no stealth mode in any hard heel.  They look fun and totally you! I haven't found any footwear with that height heel that I would want to walk distance with.  Big purse and 2nd pair of comfy shoes is standard for most women if they go out to work or something in heels

@Jackie C.i don’t know yet. But it’s been harder getting used to the clicking from the heels when walk then actually walking.

I have the same problem with some of my boots. I may take them somewhere to have them re-heeled in something softer. I know it will probably wear out sooner, but with quite a selection (about 5 pairs, 4 of which are really comfortable) hopefully they will still last for a reasonable time.

Good point. If got the unnecessary junk out of my purse I’d have room for a pair of flats. I keep a pair of Converse in my work car. It’s weird, they are women’s Converse (Madison Mids) but it feels like boy mode when I wear them.

I’m still scared of wearing bright colors, although I might look good in them.

My Converse have come from the girl aisle since 2007 and nobody has said a word. Of course the inner tag says unisex LOLOL

You lost me right here. Everything in my purse is 100% necessary.

@Birdie @Adrianna Danielle    @Willow    Big news today. We're moving to WA. My wife is taking a job and I am most likely losing mine, so it's adventure time. I'm supposed to be a risk-seeker (Aries, ENTP, etc.) but this is hitting every klaxon and alarm in my brain, but it's going to make my wife and kids happy and it will be a place to make new friends as me without the 45 years of binary baggage. There are tech jobs all over Seattle, which we'll be near, and it's a decent State for trans rights (I don't know how it compares to MN, which is a refuge state). So wish us luck! This could be the best thing ever or rocky as hell, who knows!

I know the feeling. I had to replace the dishwasher, fridge, stove. The only other issues that could pop up is the washer and dryer and the microwave oh I forgot the toaster.

That's the hard part of online relationships, they really never get to see the whole you. You either have to create a persona that will carry the day until they get to see you for who you are, or be open and take the risk because it's really easy for them to disconnect because there is little to no bond.   You have to share pictures of your puppy! I am not a dog person, but I can appreciate them in jpg format! My kiddos would love to have a pet, but we're all allergic in some shape or form and my wife and I are like, "no." :D

I'm sorry Birdie! I wished you could move to a non-stressful place.

I love shopping for cars with my imaginary budget lol. A mustang is always fun to drive! Every time I felt down or depressed I drove it and it made me happy!

Well things have actually been really good lately. I got a dog last Friday. I forgot how expensive they are but they are worth it. Now if I can just get him potty trained that would be awesome! He only has one particular spot inside that he likes so I try to watch him carefully. He is part German Shepheard and part Lab. He is very low maintenance. The sad part is that he didn't know what to do with a treat nor did he knew how to play fetch instead my youngest was playing fetch. He is kind of getting used to toys somewhat. I'm no longer expecting a relationship because I tell them what is wrong with me because I don't want them to be surprised about anything and they always ghost me. Oh well.

Even with the court ruling, the problem is that many of the insurance companies continue to have exclusions for everything unrelated to a vaginoplasty. For folks who are transgender females, we still get no protections to ensure we can get electrolysis (other than for genital preparation prior to vaginoplasty), voice/speech therapy or surgery, facial feminization procedures, or body contouring. There are many components that go along with managing our dysphoria. When the government mandates all of these measures, then I will say it was a victory.   I am still worried that all of the progress will be eradicated if the election goes poorly in November.
