Had my weekly therapy today, having arranged for in person. The receptionist is the only trans female I know, and I hadn't seen her in a loooonnnng time. So we chatted a bit, and we got the approval for her to take this picture for me.1570156536_IMG_20220218_1003482382.thumb.jpg.490e3c9edb8fa9773572abc4f6c1dae8.jpg

What a cute jacket! I love the colors, and the headband sets off everything so nicely! You brighten the whole picture, @Niamh!💜

+1 to what @Katie M said!  The floral jacket looks great on you.  So cheery!

I LOVE that outfit- well done. You look great. You have a good eye for putting it all together, right down to the cute watch.

Going to a happy hour although I can’t drink right now.

Meh. I never drink and I still have fun with my friends when we go out. As a happy side-effect, I have also never flashed my table within ten minutes of entering an establishment.

That's a nice, casual look @Bri2020. Needs more pentagrams though. 😉

I should have posted this yesterday but this is how I was dressed at work at my thrift shop yesterday.  It's the first time I've worn a skirt there.  I felt amazing.  And I went to a store after work.  I'm definitely getting more confident!

Love the leggings!  I swear I will try those eventually… 🙇🏻‍♀️  Love the necklaces too.  Specifically the one with the letter on it.  My phone resolution doesn’t quite make it clear what letter it is though.  The boots look warm too!

I know you had the two outfits, but I didn’t want to over-inflate the post size in case that causes issues with anyone.  You are a bolder woman than I with the fishnet look though.  Like, bravo!  It was very well done, but I don’t think I could pull that off anywhere as well as you are!  Have to praise the nails too.  Totally went with that entire look beautifully.  I could use the boots though.  To help with the short thing. 😆

This second one is fantastic!  I haven’t really found a dress I feel comfortable in yet.  Still have issues with my dysphoria and personal issues over my figure.  But this dress is gorgeous!  You seem to have a talent for putting together outfits that “flow.”  I know I used that term for that all black outfit with the shirt, leggings, and boots.  The whole look just starts at the top and rolls down you all wrapped up and contained but just coming out all together and pretty by the bottom.  I hope I’m explaining that right. 🤔

I love how those flowers rush down and start wrapping up the look.  Those boots look like something I’d totally rock.  What kind of necklace is that though?  I haven’t tried anything that close to my neck.  Mine is usually hanging a bit.  My selection is admittedly a little limited at the moment.  It’s still usually the one I have shown before.

Finally had a chance to put on big girl clothes vs pajamas lol. Going to a happy hour although I can’t drink right now. Metallic thread pants and plunge neck top. Gonna pair with some basic black ankle boots

I love this!  It’s casual but classy.  I also tend to be a fan of that sort of color pairing.  Hard to go wrong there in my opinion.  It’s also minimalistic for as fancy as it comes off.  Totally two thumbs up!

I manage a thrift shop and I have a couple of Cis women who are helping me create a look for myself.  I love this scarf one of them suggested to me.  These ladies are wonderful.

I love the scarf here.  I have wanted to experiment with scarves but I haven’t found many it looks like I can do anything with.  I will have to start sharing some of my options now that I have relocated.  Love how your hair frames your face too.  The color scheme is very nice!  You just look like you’d be all smiles and sweetness! 🤗

I had my last working day on Monday this week. Technically I'm now unemployed, but actually living off some savings until my pensions kick in next year. So I was off out today doing one of the things I love doing - photography. And this was what I was wearing when I went out...

IMG_20220217_161903780.jpg

Gotta be honest, I love the colors here.  Just as a whole.  It’s so colorful and soft, if that makes sense.  Love the hair band.  I haven’t had a lot of luck with ones like that, but your hair looks like it’s more cooperative.  I have been sticking to the harder ones.  Love the earrings!  Are they a specific design or just something you found?

This was how I rolled today.  We had errands to run, shopping to do, and I wound up winning an air hockey game. 😅  It’s not a full picture, but I hadn’t expected to be taking anything.  And yes.  Huge Little Mermaid fan.9DB37DE7-B9B8-4D85-9D39-C9EC2A82E31D.thumb.jpeg.228f7972aa537918900ccdc13ca93780.jpeg

Lenneth - The longer necklaces are integral to the top, which I really like. The letter necklace is a stylized "H," to help remind me that I AM HANNAH - not that I'm likely to ever forget.

Oh I love it!  I am a fan of necklaces too.  I had another one that's temporarily out of commission.  It was a mermaid to run with my "Little Mermaid" motif.  Was that something you just found or was it a custom ordered piece?

I have loved skirts.  They're almost all I wear now.  It is something that's helped me feel more feminine and people gravitate towards seeing me that way because of it.  I absolutely understand feeling good in them and it's so great that you do!  It's totally a cute outfit!

I love the outfit as a whole, but I'm especially drawn to those boots!  Where did you get those?  And is it still really cold over there?  It's starting to warm up this way and I am sad.  My partner would love the shade of that jacket too.

Thanks. I made it from some beads a coworker gave me. He got them as the "free gift" when he bought parts for his firearms😆. They have a flat black, pitted finish. Reminds me of volcanic rocks.

I like your earrings. I can't see the whole thing but it kind of looks American Indian in style.

The boots are knee high moccasins, they lace up.  I've had them for years, got online.

The "jacket" is a sweater from GoodWill I believe.

WOW @Ashley0616 it’s good that you have skills to treat traumatic injuries, as well as the ability to remain calm while managing others needs to get yourself and the boys ready to go to the hospital. Proud mama bear skills. I’m glad that he’s doing well.    Meanwhile back at the ranch, we slept in and I’m just now finishing my 3rd cup of coffee.    Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Well yesterday was not fun. I was getting ready to make dinner and I hear screaming and crying. I look over and my son put his foot through glass. He gashed near his Achilles tendon. Thankfully that is intact. I didn't freeze for a second. All of my military training came into play. I doctored him up and got Jett ready and myself and we headed to the ER. He is doing ok today. He says he is in pain but doesn't need Tylenol. He is a tough cookie!

Hi,   It's seems today is my trans birthday.  I'm beyond excited. Just picked up my testogel from the pharmacy. Although I naturally have doubts as I'm sure do we all, they are rapidly disappearing. Yesterday I was so nervous I kept claiming I'm not trans, despite grinning like a fool knowing I can pick up my prescription the next day. I'm shaking and on the verge of happy tears. I will put on my first sachet this eve. Thanks so much to this forum and kind words from people. This is the first forum I found when I began seriously questioning.

While the Soviet Union did not end up being the source of all evil, I believe that history has shown that Joe McCarthy generally was right. There ARE all kinds of Marxists slithering around. And if that had been dealt with firmly 75 years ago (or more) the nation wouldn't be in the shape that it's in now.    And while I generally oppose the idea of intervening in foreign affairs, the world probably would have been better off if we had taken care of issues in Russia and defeated the Bolshevik Menace back in 1919. God bless the memory of Admiral Kolchak.   Getting back to project 2025, my belief is that Republican efforts are inappropriately focused on trans folks. A minority of a minority does not wreck a nation. But it is easier to focus on trans folks because they can look like they're doing something. They don't have to address the real problems, and really they don't want to address them because they would have to address themselves.  They would also need to admit that the 50 State version of the USA cannot be saved.

@Willow things went pretty well on Monday. I have been working on the project all week long. I've been hanging out with my husband a lot, since he said that nobody would mind because I'm working on company stuff. My work is going slowly, but it is going. Rather better than I had hoped.   I ended up waking up late this morning. After 18 months of only working on house chores, not really used to doing anything else. Actually a little bit tired

Getting back to this… I've seen objections to Critical Race Theory, but simply "critical theory" is a new one on me.  I think we need to be "critical" about a lot of things, or at least examine why we believe what we do about them.  If they stand up under scrutiny, great.  If not perhaps we need to look at something else.   Not all socialists are Soviet Russian Communists. I have read very little Marx myself.  That kind of writing bores me quickly.  But I think there are legitimate concerns about unfettered capitalism.  There are countries that seem to do well on a mixture of capitalism and socialism.  But I am no Tankie.   The Red Scare kinda morphed into the Lavender Scare, and now we have this Transgender Scare.   The thing is, most people are scared to get to know any of the people they are scared of. I'm not scared of evangelical christians.  But I am a little scared of what they seem ready to do to me, because they are scared of me. I am not a scary person - don't want to be.  I'm just an old trans woman trying to mind my own business, and get with what's left of my life. And the 2025 project seems to be designed to make that difficult.
