There are so many naughty ways to interpret this that I'm just sitting here snickering. :D

I'll be cleaning and reloading my blunderbuss about now (very effective against the rubber cutlass).

Pirate lore? I dunno ...just really bad eggs.

HEY! i didn't even think of anything near naughty till u brought it up! *drops cutlass and goes to get a sandwich*

hugs, Nikki

OK, Everybody, were here - wasn't it worth the wait?

The pure white sands outlining the Azure Lagoon, with a reflection of the moon playing across its calm surface in the cool breeze of a tropical night.

We are anchored so it is safe to swim, except of course you do not know how.

Sarah, Sweetheart - swimming is so much easier without your hands tied behind your back.

Dee Jay!

Be careful with that rubber cutlass - you almost cut our imaginary anchor chain - and at this point we are pretty much just hanging by a thread as it is.

Whose drunk parrot is this eating all of crackers?

I wouldn't mind so much if they were not covered with Beluga Caviar, oh well I always have cookies to spare.

Love ya,

Sally

Fainted my left hind leg-that poor parrot is flat out snockered! Naughty Opal!

Hey everybody-JJ's back-I got tossed overboard by a rougue wave and ad to swim ashore amid sharks-but I'm back now!

So Sally-are we sailing bacl soon or continuing to frolic on the island?

Link to comment

We can set sail as the tide goes out tonight but don't expect to get back right away, after all of the activities on the island and at your pool before hand I think that a couple of days sailing would be in order to bring everyone to just the right mood for a mellow weekend in Miami, but you may have to do all of the night clubbing without me, I am going to looking for David Caruso.

Love ya,

Sally

Ah, that's where the compass went! Welcome back Sharkbait!

Now where's the rum!

It's rum punch and a deck chair under the stars for me tonight!

Did you ever try to fend off a shark with a rubber cutlass? I grabbed the wrong one on my way overboard. That shark would have had me for sure if it hadn't of been laughing so hard when I whacked it with the rubber cutlass.

Breaks a man's heart that does!

Won't someone come console me??

Ahhh. Thank you Micha.

It's a grand night for sitting under the stars!

Do you perchance have plans for that cutlass??

Morning crew-nothing like a sweet sleep under the stars to refresh the spirit-and well............I'll just leave it at that

I've had an idea! Wen we get back why don't we take my starship and go exploring? I've been offered commissions for all in Starfleet.

for those not familiar with the fleet we can quickly get you up to speed-but just tink of all those planets and aliens and food dispensers and we can design our uniforms within parameters. i think there's even a pool as well as 10 Forward and all those holodecks where every fantasy can be fullfilled

So let me know what you think so I can get the ship all fitted out and christened. We need a name for her. It will be her maiden voyage.

Maybe we can dock at DS9( and even meet the Enterprise along the way!

You have free rein-I've never seen chainmaille on a starship but you might start a whole new trend if your fancy turns that way!

We happen to be in dire need of a lead engineer and will be pleased to welcome you aboard. An experienced officer is essential on a shakedown cruise!

Application

[This is my third try. My wonderful computer (in WORD) has dumped me twice totally erasing my work!. So much for that theory work in Word instead of in reply at Lauras. But this is so witty and cleaver a posting I cannot deny the world the privilege of reading it - so let me reconstruct what I can!]

Dear Sir or Maam or Other:

Please consider this as a formal application for consideration for member of the executive crew.

Please consider assigning me as Executive Counselor please see Advanced Degree - attached

[My score in ExoBiomental Processes was .08% higher than my cousin Deanna Troi, University of Texas at Alpha Centuri. She is my mothers first cousins daughter we favor one another a bit, although her father is Luna-Sicialian.]

And as Class II Medical Technician please see Associate Degree - attached

I also have Comp Skills please see marriage license of friend - attached

[You may also want to consider my confidant and best A.I. friend FORTRAN was romantically involved with DATA until C3PO swept her off her peds. Its rumored their LOVE CHILD is a crew member on the new ship (my godchild). So I want so much to be there too! Otherwise, select option 'OOPS 13' at your own risk - I know what it does and why it was never shown in the training manual diagrams!]

Please see my attached StarService Log and my Resume.

[The RED FLAG stamped alert about my Space Piracy SteamPunk history is highly exaggerated and I would like to speak to someone about that in PRIVATE! The loss of 32 private registry ships was my consorts responsibility, as the attached parole registry confirms. And the accidental scuttling of a Starfleet Beta Class Transport was a mistake, and in any case, we should not have been held accountable for a test ship, no matter how experimentally significant the botcrew.]

Please note: I have changed slightly from the attached OFFICIAL ID Graphics and Ratings.

[Please ignore the pseudo pirate beard, tattoos, and the non-standard issue DD chest, as those enhancements have been reworked. And after the Transporter Transitioning and the Hormone Replacement Technology, my Docility Score is now down to 155, after a start point of 265. I am projected to reach the standard 35 soon.]

Hoping you will accept this a formal request to joining the crew of the proposed USS ( CLASSIFIED ) - Starfleet Vessel Exploration Class.

Thank you for your consideration.

I'm Amanda, and after 57 years of pretending to be a male crossdresser, I've recently admitted to myself that I'm a woman. It's pretty wild. I don't think that I've ever had a thought that was as clearly true and right, as when I first allowed myself to wonder, "wait, am I actually trans?"   The hilarious part is that I owe that insight to my urologist, and a minor problem with a pesky body part that genetic women don't come equipped with (no, not that one). I'll spare you the details, but the end result was him talking about a potential medication that has some side effects, notably a 1% chance of causing men to grow breasts. The first thought that bubbled up from the recesses of my mind was, "wow, that would be awesome!"   <<blink>><<blink>> Sorry, what was that again?   That led down a rabbit hole, and a long, honest conversation with myself, followed by a long, honest conversation with my wife. We both needed a couple of weeks, and a bit of crying and yelling, to settle in to this new reality. Her biggest issue? Several years ago, she asked me if I was trans, and I said, "no". That was a lie. And honestly, looking back over my life, a pretty stupid one.   I'm really early in the transition process - I have my first consultation with my doctor next week - but I'm already out to friends and family. I'm struggling with the "do everything now, now now!" demon, because I know that this is not a thing that just happens. It will be happening from now on, and trying to rush won't accomplish anything useful. Still, the struggle is real . I'm being happy with minor victories - my Alexa devices now say, "Good morning, Amanda", and I smile each and every time. My family and friends are being very supportive, after the initial shock wore off.   I'm going to need a lot of help though, which is another new thing for me. Being able to ask for help, that is. I'm looking forward to chatting with some of you who have been at this longer, and also those of you who are as new at this as I am. It's wild, and intoxicating, and terrifying... and I'm looking forward to every second of it.   Amanda Joy

Rain here. I went to Asheville yesterday, and stayed later to visit some before going down the mountain.  Down here there were a lot of trees down in the northern part of the county.  The power had gone off at the house, but was back by the time I got home (21:00).  There was a thunderstorm during the night.

I used to get ma'am'ed during my 45 years of boy-mode and it drove me nuts.    Now that I have accepted girl-mode I find it quite pleasant.    Either way, being miss gendered is quite disturbing. I upon a rare occasion might get sir'ed by strangers and it's quite annoying.

Good morning Ash,    Welcome to TransPulseForums, I have a young neighbor who plays several brass instruments who lives behind my house. He is always practicing and I could listen to them for hours, well I guess I have listened to them for hours, and my favorite is when they play the low tones on the French Horn.    Best wishes,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Good morning everyone,    I had my first cup of coffee this morning with my wife, my second was a 20oz travel mug on the way to the airport. Once clearing TSA, I bought another 20oz to pass the time at the boarding gate. I’m flying Indy to Baltimore, then driving to Wilmington, DE for my last teaching engagement at the DE State Fire School.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

In my opinion, the gender neutral version of sir or ma'am is the omission of such honorifics.   "Excuse me, sir" becomes simply, "Excuse me", or better yet, "Excuse me, please."   "Yes, ma'am" becomes "Yes", or depending on the context, "Yes, it would be my pleasure" or "Yes, that is correct."   Else, to replace it with a commonly known neutral term such as friend, or credentialed or action-role-oriented term depending on the situation such as teacher, doctor, driver, or server.   And learn names when you can. It's a little known fact that MOST people are bad with names. So if you've ever told someone, "I'm bad with names", you're simply affirming you're typical in that way. A name, just like any other factoid, requires effort to commit to memory. And there are strategies which help.

almost 45 min later. Still in self pity mode. I cannot figure out my wife. I shared a loving post on Facebook to my wife. Today she posts, you are my prayer. Yet, last week she puts up a post diragitory towards trans people. Does she not relate to me being trans?   ???

Well we have the white rain, about 2 inches. Work is still terrible, with me making stupid little mistakes. Yet, to the boss it is the end of the world. Still on the hunt for another.   life just still sucks for me. I just wish I could be happy for a day. I'd even settle for a couple hours.   Kymmie
