Hi all,

Its 5:03 AM here in Nebraska. Suppose to have a decent day. My day will consist of a hot bath, picking out the dress I want to wear, choc chip waffles and Sunny D for breakfast, checking my Toc Toc Account and bank account, checking to see online who has read my story, and then will start work at 7:30 AM. If they are offering overtime I’ll take it. I have TV dinners for lunch and Oreos and Doritos for a snack. Oh yes! I watch movies while I work. I put them on low. Since I work collections and most of my calls are people wanting extensions on their payments it can get stressful. I hear sad sad stories but I’m there to help. Having a movie in the background even though I can’t really watch it is a way I can focus off the negative energy. I give off positive energy but a lot of customers are sad. I choose movies that match. Today we’re going back to the 80,s and 90’s. Here’s my list:

Say Anything

Sixteen Candles

Weird Science
Ferris Buellers Day Off

The Breakfast Club

Last night I watched Serendipity. One of my favorite love movies. It’s all about fate!

I will work from 8 to 5PM maybe 7 if overtime is available. I enjoy a coke while I work as well as my snacks. During my 15 min breaks if it’s nice I’ll go outside. This evening maybe a walk. After work I’ll do a Tic Toc, watch more movies, work on my story, and then bed. So that’s my day. Let me know if you like any of the movies I will be watching today?

Tell me about your day?

Love Tessa?‍?

Me too!  We drove an hour and a half one way yesterday into NH to go shoppning at a super Walmart. (Groceries/Retail/Auto center type.)  I absolutely abused the clearance racks.  LOL

Then groceries too.    It was like getting a fix.  Ahhhhhhhhh…...

Crappy snowy/rainy day here in VT this morning but some how my heart is so lifted.  Spring is in the air and I chose to still wear some cute spring colors on such a day.

I hope you all have a wonderful day.

-oh yea. Coffee too. Duh....

My coffee tastes extra good this morning.

I'm beginning to get the "stir crazy" blues, so today I will work on my guitar practice and another drawing to try to stay focused.

Surprisingly I also received my "stimulus check" today, although since it was a direct deposit it's just magic number money. It does come at a helpful time.

Wishing everyone a pleasant and safe day! A big smile and hug to all!

Tea this morning, rather than coffee.  It's cool and rainy.

I had a nice morning reconnecting with and coming out to a couple of guys from my flying course 43 years ago.  I'd posted a photo of our course members on a Facebook page, and got a couple of 'likes' from old course-mates.  So, I messaged them, told them what happened to <deadname> and what I was up to now.  Had a nice time catching up.

It's funny how people from that era in my life are all fine and accepting of my transition.  They are all of a similar age to me, we have shared some experiences in the distant past, and they realize that life is too short to get bent out of shape by someone's transition.  A few years ago, I came out to an online friend whom I have never met in person.  His response was, "I learned a long time ago, in the jungles of Vietnam, that life is too short not to live it to its fullest."  I wouldn't wish the way he learned that on anyone, but I wish more people understood that lesson.  I am happy that my old pals have.

Hi

Pretty day today. Blue sky, birds are talking.

I have a couple of sun dresses I haven’t been able to wear yet. Right after we got them the weather turned to fall and I haven’t gone anywhere this spring.

My new Soma bra came yesterday.  I really like it. It’s a front close with sides that hide that bubble that seems to form just below my armpit.

Tea is what I prefer, myself, and is what I make every morning.  Today was a nice cup of Irish Breakfast.

It's warmer than yesterday and sunny, nice to see a break in the rain.  I may work from my patio this afternoon.

Good morning all! Beautiful day here 52 now going up to 85, yaah! I'm wearing a red dress and loving it. I took the trash to the curb and there is a slight breeze, felt soooo good feeling my dress blowing in the wind!

I think I am going to enjoy my coffee on the patio.

Nice nails, Tessa. I am working on mine. Actually helped my son on his project car on Thursday and didn't break a nail. yea.  Blue skies and sunshine here. but a cool wind. typical for Wyoming. You can tell a motorcyclist from Wyoming as they ride like this / because of the wind.

Just waiting for the coffee to warm back up. timed out. Back to closing a 9pm. which I think is stupid but corporate says so. We will see just how busy we are. If the lights shut down at quarter of 8(computer controlled at home office) I am out of there.

Have a good day everyone.

Hugs

@Tessa I’m jealous of your nails.  Mine break so easily.  I try and try and just about the time they start looking something other than ragged and broken, one breaks.

@KathyLauren there was a lot of bad stuff going on during Vietnam.   If you were in the military back then you were definitely looked down upon. When I came home from Southeast Asia we were warned to put on civilian clothes and not to go anywhere off base in California in a uniform.  We were proud but had to hide.

I am still afraid to let old friends know I am transgender not even my brother in law knows.  Other than here or group there aren’t more than a dozen people that know.  I so want to shout it out sometimes.

Way better then mine.  One thing that sucks about being a technician.

I wish I had nails half as good as yours. I’m lucky enough to be able to get all of the dirt out of them.

I work at a computer all day. So it was a lady at my church that said she loved my nails. I thought it was a joke but maybe I guess it wasn’t. Thank you all for the nice compliments! I don’t get a lot of that being single.

I just got off work. Stressful day to say the least. System froze! Didn’t get up for an hour. Called boss to help. I always feel when I have to call a boss I did something wrong. This was not my fault at all. Anyway it’s over now. Old friends text me back. Good feeling they still remember me. Nice outside. Maybe a walk. Late dinner. More movies and writing.

Well I know it’s evening lol. It was mentioned on here before the documentary Trans. I finally got the chance to watch it. The show was a tear jerker if both good and bad. It’s sad how many of us go through without any support at all. It makes me grateful to be here and that there are people in my life who support me.

Good morning. One of  these mornings I’m going to go back to Starbucks and get my favorite drink. Peppermint Mocha. I took a hot bath this morning for more than an hour. Shaved my legs and got all girly and pretty for work. I’m wearing a mini skirt and pink socks with biker boots and a black t-shirt with a cat on it with money all around the cat. Meow! Anyway feel like being playful but no one to play with. I work at home. I’m the prettiest Babe here! Lol. I even wear my name tag. I am being creative with my home work life. I really would like to spend my time with someone special. I have a great personality and so full of life! Well this Babe’s got to get to work now. Later going to see kids. They want to bring their Xbox over. I will play with them but I suck at games. It’s just for them. Carter needed some batteries for the Xbox controller but my ex would not let me bring her any. Today’s my day to see them do I went and bought her some. I love my kids!

Tessa is full of love❤️

Let’s stick to cite-able fact. Most of my posts have been directly in relation to LGBTQ+ rights as it pertains to P2025 and I have drawn direct links between people, their quotes, and their agenda. I have made reference to the cronyism that P2025 would entail as well, by gutting, not cutting, broad swathes of government and replacing it with “conservative warriors” (I can get you the direct quote, but rest assured it’s a quote). All this does is constantly force the cogs to be refitted, not their movement. To say that agencies have directly defied a President is a bit much, the EPA did what Trump told them to do at the direct harm to the environment, the department of agriculture did the same by enacting the administrations forced move to KC which decimated the USDA.      How about Betsy DeVoss for Education? Or Bannon for anything? What about the revolving Chief of Staff position that Trump couldn’t stay filled? Or the Postmaster General, who did much to make the USPS worse?   Let’s not mix politics with racism, sexism, or any other ism. Because Trump made mainly white, male, appointments—many of them not, arguably, people fit for service—or unwilling to commit to term. I can argue this because, again, he’s up for election and will do what he did before (and more of the same, his words).   Please delineate how the selected diversity appointments have negatively affected the US, other than being black, women, or queer? Representation matters and America benefits when its people are inspired and empowered.

When I first started figuring things out, I got a lot more euphoria. Every time a friend would use he/they pronouns for me, I'd get this bubbly feeling, and seeing myself look masculine made me really happy. Dysphoric state felt more normal, so I guess I noticed the pain it caused me less.   Now, it's more just that my pronouns and such things feel natural, and dysphoria is a lot stronger -- I know what's natural, so experiencing the opposite is more jarring than everything. The problem is, most of my natural experiences are from friends, and I rarely get properly gendered by strangers, much less by my family. I've found myself unable to bind in months due to aches, colds,, and not wanting to risk damage.    It partially makes me want to go back to the beginning of my journey, because at least then I got full euphoria. I'm pretty sure it'll be like this until I medically transition, or at the very least get top surgery (you know all those trans dudes online with tiny chests? Not me, unfortunately). It's a bit depressing, but at least I know that, eventually, there's a way out of this.
    • RaineOnYourParade
Major mood, right here ^^^    I've listened to Lumineers to a long time (a major portion of it by osmosis via my mom), so that is almost painfully relatable
    • RaineOnYourParade
As for getting a button-up/formal pants suit, you can try to talk to her more -- Cis women in tuxes have worn tuxes in recent years, after all, (for example, Zendaya) so it can still be a relatively safe topic. For jumpsuits, I'd recommend going with a simple one with a blazer, if you can -- this'll make it look overall more masculine. There's a lot of good brands, but going for one without a lot of extra glitz on it will make it look less feminine under a blazer. I don't know many specific brands though since I usually just get my stuff from chain stores, sorry :<   When it comes to your hair, if you can't cut it, you can look up tutorials on fluffing it up instead. If you can pull it off, it can look a lot shorter and more androgynous instead!
    • RaineOnYourParade
As far as I'm aware, he wasn't -- he just sometimes wore skirts, which was why it was a question in the first place.   In my opinion, part of that is because of the way press spares attention on issues like that. As a bit of a true crime nut and what I see: Child predator cases' (and cases of a sexual nature in general) press focus on those with an AMAB perpetrator generally, and very rarely are AFAB perpetrators given much press time or even getting tried due to a whole bunch of issues I'm not gonna get into. Because of this, when you see these types of cases and a boy is the victim, it's almost always a queer person who is the one who committed a crime that gets press. Therefore, with the amount of cases seen with this type of perpetrator (and due to the fact "99% of queer people are not sexual criminals" doesn't attract eyes), the human brain can kind of naturally makes an association with it. It's not right, but it's also a fault I think falls partially on the media.   That's all my opinion, though!   This is extra confusing to me, as a feminine man is usually viewed as gay. If someone is refusing the acknowledge the existence of trans people, then gay would be the societal connection that comes after, I think. So, that sorta implies that trans women wouldn't be interested in women in the first place by those assumptions? Of course, trans lesbians exist (most trans women I know like women, actually), but it's a little ridiculous to me that people will deny trans people's existence, call all feminine AMAB people gay, and say that trans people are looking to peep all in the same breath.   Wow, this was a lot longer of a response than I was planning to write--

For one thing, the practice of putting into office wholly unqualified people simply because of racial, sexual or national characteristics.  It is no accident that Karine is a Haitian immigrant, Black and lesbian.  Kamala Harris is a Black female. Pete Buttigieg is gay.  Often you find that Biden explicitly stated that this is why he hired them, not because of competence, but because they checked so many boxes on his little list.  It makes a mockery of people and is a disservice to the US.
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am not sure why people are in favor of unaccountable agencies with bloated budgets and wasteful spending.

Hey girl  I had a problem like you happen to me also. In my first year of estrogen I had a period where my level were good then they got really bad where my testosterone spike high.  I felt like you with all that disforia coming hard. Our bodies need time to adjust. The process is a real pain in the beginning. It levels out eventually and you don't even think about it. Hang in there hugs

I wonder if there will be law enforcement procedural shows coming this fall. I can imagine Law and Order: Genital Crimes Unit, or perhaps, FBI: Domestic Genitalia. Then again, maybe they will dedicate a CSI program about the dedicated members of the Oklahoma State Police Genital Screening Unit. Good to know that those Oklahomans have their priorities squared away.
    • KatieSC
Protections? Well, when they mandate that some who is transgender can get facial and genital electrolysis paid as it is essential to affirming care, or when they mandate and pay for facial feminization surgery, speech therapy/voice affirmation surgery, I will believe that the order is effective. One of biggest hurdles for many transgender individuals is the cost of care. I remember when my one insurance company tried to say that my speech therapy and voice surgery were "cosmetic". I remember when they blocked paying for my facial surgery. I remember the fight I had to get electrolysis. These procedures could save someone's life if the procedures help the individual successfully transition, and are no longer misgendered.
