my reaction: "mom john deere is not supposed to be girly-fied. its a tractor for pete's sake."

then i went and got a black, green and yellow john deere shirt. because pink just aint my color. and its definitely not meant for john deere.

mom still got the pink one. dry.gif lol

Tractor Supply!

One of my favorite places to shop in my town...so, you have one, too....

Ah...go in and enjoy the smell of the feed, the salt licks....

Look through the cowboy hats, jeans, flannel tops....

I go there to buy squeeky tennis orbs for my dog, get my drive belts and fencing!

Oh and the cool stuff at the check out counter...Saturday I saw them selling a product that was in a tube like "Chap Stick" called "Chicken Poop"....says that it keeps you from licking your lips!

Always a good day to shop there!

So I called my mom yesterday in a panic because the stupid counseling center didn't seem to know when the LGBT group was and I had skipped a class to go. So my mom knew I was going to a group for counselling. (BTW, I was given misinformation, the group hasn't even started yet even though I called them and asked and they said it had.) So she looked up what groups my school offered. So when I couldn't tell her, I told her to guess, and she guessed Lesbian. I told her, "exploring my gender identity."

Well, she took it well. I'm glad she understands the reason I'm still confused is because I can't simply say, "I'm a guy trapped in a female body." I... feel different... but maybe not like that. And she said she does have her coworker that has transitioned from MtF, and the friend of the family that is a masculine lesbian, so she can always get me in touch with them.

One of the most important things is now I can get some individual counseling, because since I'm on her insurance, I was going to have to tell her something eventually.

My stomach has been in knots and I've been feeling sick since yesterday, since she told me to call back, but we kept missing each other's calls until today finally.

I finally feel better. At least... a little better.

You should feel better - that level of support would have had me walking on my ceiling.

Your mother is more concerned about your well being than she is about appearances - good for her.

And that is even better for you, she is willing to help you find yourself and that is priceless.

Love ya,

Sally

That is really good news. It is so hard to tell your family ANYTHING, and to explain gender dysphoria - oh my! HOW is that possible. But you have it done - or at least started. So take a deep breath and resume your life until the next crisis.

That is great news.

Having the support of your family will make so much difference for you.

And the relief of having it done and oveer with will really help your stress level too.

I'm happy for you.

I just wanna say thanks to everyone who made my day today. Yall are great.

I'd name names, but there's too many to list. But anyway, thanks. Yall managed to get a smile out of me even though i'm in all this pain.

Oh, and at the store today, some girl and (i assume) her mom were shoppin together. and i was standin there lookin at motor oil, but the me and the girl just happened to share a glance and i overheard the girl's mom say "wow you cant keep lookin over there huh?" then i guess she saw me and said "oh yeahhh, he's kinda cute ain't he?" (i was standin back turned to their side of the isle, and they were standin with their backs turnt to my side of the isle.)

So that put me in a good mood too. lol.

i recently found out i have an older half brother that was put up for adoption

That had to be quite a shock.

How are you feeling about it?

Link to comment

I cant sleep. sad.gif

I went for a drive down the dirt road and saw 3 deer, one huge buck. musta been a 12 point, and of course, didnt have the gun with me. (DOH!)

But i have a lot on my mind. ...too much. and its causin me to have a dang headache. (Dee Jay add that dang to the fee im buildin up. I have some spare change somewhere to pay ya with. lol.)

Half of it is school related. The more i think about it, the more id like to go into law enforcement. Not a cop, but a game warden. But i like the web design idea as well. So im kinda stuck. Im thinkin i really wanna go into law enforcement though. Im gonna call my enrollment advisor tomorrow to see what programs i maybe can switch to that are policing/crim. justice related.

Rest of it is life stuff. Everything from finding a job to lack of love.

*sigh*

Ok, i guess will attempt another shot at sleepin.

Night y'all.

Aw Colton-I hate to hear you're depressed! But it happens to all of us.

If you feel like telling that long story you know we'd be glad to listen-and I think the girls will probably give you lots of hugs and pampering whether you chose to talk about it or not. and from last night's post I'd guess you're tired which makes everything seem worse.

I'm glad you're feeling better-and still taking it easy. Being inactive when you're not used to it can lead you to feel down too. It'll be better soon.

And being able to change your major so easily is great. Sounds like the outdoor game warden life would realy suit you.

Take care*gives a manly pat on the back*

Ah well i have worrying news.

Most of yall know that im located down here in southeast ga. more on the coastal side of things.

Well, its hurricane season here, and we have a hurricane.

A BIG hurricane. Category 4. and well developed. the forecast track has it headin for the carolinas, but they say its wobblin some kinda bad, and it could "tilt" off track, and head straight for us. nonetheless, wherever this thing goes we are gonna feel it in some way because of its size.

Ive seen the damage the tail end of a tropical storm can do to this area. but a cat. 4 storm? thats a whole nother ball game.

Heres a local news article about "Earl" and the other storms brewin in the atlantic. the article has a picture of the forecast track and size/location of the storm.

for reference, im bout 50 miles north of jacksonville. give or take a few.

Anyway y'all please keep the east coast in your thoughts and prayers. there is still gonna be damage done no matter where and how hard it hits.

Are you going to stay put, Colton, or head to higher ground? If you riding it out, you got your water, food and batteries?

What I don’t like about the dealer working on my car, yes the put the paper mats on the floor, but why don’t they remove them when they bring my car to me?  And why do they always mess with my radio settings and my electronic dashboard settings?  I get them the way I want them and they seem to want them at factory default.  Leave things like you find them!  Why is that so difficult?  And don’t tell me it’s because the updated the computer! Every time!.  And no I haven’t figured out everything yet on the new car.  I can’t even get my key programmed to move my seat when I get in and out.  It’s supposed to move the seat, the mirrors, the steering wheel and several other things.  My old Eddie Bauer was easy to program but then it only programmed seat location and pedal location.   ok now that we’ve had our rousing knock on cars and dealer mechanics.  What else shall we talk about?  Bras?  Seems like an appropriate subject for most of us.  I have several different types. Two are famous store push-up padded to are more common everyday lightly padded ant one is a no padding no strap slip and the last one is a front close longline no padding.  Now that one supports the theory that I am now a B cup on my own. I’d prefer a C but then I’m not so sure my blouses would still fit without pulling.  Ah the problem we have as women.  And sizes are never ever the same.  Oh I’m a size ??  But men I need a large shirt and 36-30 pants and they always fit.   we can’t buy anything off the rack with confidence it will fit and I hate having to take it home to try one and return what doesn’t fit.   we’ll time to do my hair and leave.   love ya   Willow

Hello we are The lake. So called because This One has not determined a name for oneself but has in a way created an environment to try out multiple names as different people. Currently Some of us use she/her pronouns and one uses he/him. We hope to learn more about being transgender and the intricacies involved. Once again it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance and we hope to be of further help in the future.
