Okay Trekkies-Here is a new destination for us!

And the cave was featured in TNG!

Caves offer new tour -- in Klingon

A very belated response to this, but when I saw it I just knew it was going to be Jenolan, and I can't help but drag up old topics to boast

I actually work there, used to live there too, when I was a kid.

I'm in the rooms service department currently, but I'll soon be working for one of the two people who thought of the concept. There has been a few people walking around in some pretty out-there costumes lately, but I'm disappointed by the lack of any conventions <_<

Well, off to meet another doctor. Dee Jay, hope your day went well with the three, and please keep some warm Pepsi handy for me just in case!

Huggs all!

What a fantastic place to work!! I love caves and I've been a Trekkie for over 40 years-I'd really love to be able to see this place-and work there too.

Not to mention how much fun it must have been having a place like that around as a kid.

I have never been to any of the conventions but I would think it would be the perfect place for one. Maybe one day. .If I ever get to Australian I will definitely be coming to see your remarkable cave system!

Like JJ, a little jealous too.

The more I think I pass, the more I hate public restrooms... why does our campus have so few unisex bathrooms? =(

Because they cost money :( but not so long ago there weren't any.

Dang it, Sweetheart!

I missed this at the bottom of your post!

Now we're talkin!

Did you suck it down with a warm Diet Pepsi?

That's the "official" way, you know...

Well, you just bit off your first chunk....what does it look like for the "E"?????

Thank you Mia !!!

Yes, Dee Jay, seems like I like to sneak things in here and there for you. Keep you on your toes! The plan is for her to contact my GP and see if she is willing to work with her. I stipulated I wanted to hold off on the Pro 'E' and the 'E' until I get below 200 lbs (not sure what that is in Kgs, sorry). By then we should have all the paperwork in place and a plan towards SRS.

Whats more, I did not get 'Sir'd once today !!!

Well before i give my update I want to say congrats to Micha and Opal biggrin.gif

Alright, so time for my update.

Went to my mom's this weekend. Soon as she picked me up, she told me we were going to Eufaula Alabama.

So for a country boy like me, who's never spent a day on the west side of Interstate 75, this was big news.

My mom, and her S/O go huntin there, and this year they are takin me. We went to put out corn and set up the deer feeders and trail cameras this weekend.

We drove 4 hours through the hills and farms of southwest georgia, and through lil towns like the one im from.

We got to the hotel at 2 in the mornin. it shoulda been a shorter ride, but friday night's trip included:

  • My mom's S/O gettin a speedin ticket (77 through a 55) in a lil town called Poulan.
  • A road block in Lee County, in which they had both sides of the road stopped, and GHP, DNR, and lee county sheriffs were there.
  • And a tractor trailer carryin sheetrock, that burnt down and backed up traffic on a small 2 lane road.

Saturday we woke up bright n early, and went to set up stuff, then left to come back home.

Was a fun trip.

Saturday night we grilled burgers and watched the race on TV (BRISTOL @ NIGHT!!! to bad Kyle Busch won :/ )

Sunday was a lazy day, and today i spent the day watchin TV til my mom brought me home this afternoon.

So i had a fun weekend. and me any my moms husband actually got along. so it was cool cool.gif

Hey Colton-So good to hear about your good weekend! And your good news about getting along with your family too.

Sounds like the perfect country boy weekend.

I hope to hear about many, many more

Yes, Colton, that sounded like quite an adventure. Deer and Elk are very popular to hunt in the mountains around here, but I have not ever gone. We have antelope moving through the fields here all the time.

Its been raining here some, so that means that the ground will be soft enough to disk up the weeds that the spraying did not finish off. Bet you would do an amazing job of running this tractor and disk, and I could save my nails!

Hugs,

Opal

If that happens, a lot of things I don't want to see might also be codified into law.  And some things that shouldn't be law might not get repealed.  To me, progress in one area isn't worth the price we'd have to pay in several other areas.     For me, voting on LGBTQ issues always ends up as an "out of the frying pan, but into the fire" sort of event.

Trying out a new wig. Got my reading glasses on. I've also got dark roots now - first time in years.

Thea, your post made me think of a comic named Chloe Petts whom I saw recently on Hannah Gadsby's Gender Agenda comedy special on Netflix. She is a cisgender masculine lesbian. She is brilliant and so funny. I was intrigued by her identification - specifically masculine, not butch. And it seems to me there is a difference.

Today I had a dr appt. When I checked in, I was asked my surname, which I gave. Apparently there were two patients with appointments at that time with that same surname. The receptionist asked, "Are you (my legal name which is feminine) or Paul?" I got such a kick out of it not being assumed I had the feminine name.
    • Vidanjali
That must have felt affirming, albeit perhaps weirdly so. However, I'd construe that more broadly (no pun intended) as sexism rather than misogyny where the latter would imply contempt. Also, incidentally, I've heard chivalry referred to as "benevolent sexism".

My boss is in a panic. His business is a couple straws away from breaking a camel in half. He's just handling the stress very poorly.   My dad, though. He's handling things pretty well, as long as I continue to don't get massively offended by being called: son, boy, etc. His eldest is leaving the State and looks so different than he's been used to over the years. I haven't told him I'm on HRT, but to be fair the changes haven't been massive. I've always had boobs, more so after COVID weight gain and made more obvious with its loss, but now I'm not hiding them--and obviously wearing a bra. The estrogen has done some work, but nothing major (sadly). I think the biggest HRT changes have been my skin and a mild amount of fat redistribution.   Today I'm wearing my cheater, I almost have cleavage! :D I need to get another t-shirt bra to keep a good rotation. I only have two, one push-up, and the rest are unlined (great for Summer, but not great for my Summer wardrobe ).

I eat a ketogenic diet and have had no problems. I don't know about your case but I suspect it is the estrogen. Research the types of ways to take estrogen. Pay close attention to the bloodwork results. If they are not satisfactory, bring it up with your doctor. I take injectables, which are fully covered by insurance. It may not be the route for you, but something to consider. I emphasize to do your research and good luck. You can solve this. Be persistent.    Jennifer

I'm in a magenta blouse under a baby blue buttoned cardigan - still a little cool here in the northeast today - with dark blue jeans. Oh, and my favorite flame colored copper feather earrings.

What a wonderful photo! You look gorgeous!!!

White crop top and capri jeans ;) Finaly tricked the face id on my phone, "that's not you" lol.
    • JenniferB
This is my opinion, so take it for that. Fatigue is based more on what you eat. Eat a more healthy diet, and stay away from ultra-processed foods and that should help. Think of eating the way we did a couple hundred years ago before the industrial revolution. It's just a thought.   Jennifer

I like the fact that you found support and have close members of your life. That is very important. No matter where you are on your journey, you have to have the support. Or you drift, and you question yourself.    Looking forward to your progress,   Jennifer
