Good morning everyone!! I've finished my first cup of coffee and am catching up on the news and things here on the forum.

I hope your doctor's appointment went as expected @KathyLauren

I'm still on an emotional high after yesterday afternoon's full-blown reveal with my wife. We sat at our basement bar for a drink together later in the day - both in skirts and sweaters - and talked for almost 2 hours. We had so much fun and agreed to do it on a regular basis.

Be safe and enjoy this day!

@April Marie So happy for you.

Well the problems in MI keep going. Yesterday we receive a letter from the evidence dept of the Sheriff's dept. They had some valuables that was secured from my brother in laws. US currency. We have 6 months to claim it. Of course, in person.  The wife called the gal she talked to told her that we shouldn't have had the run around we did. She is going to see if they can send the cash. I guess time will tell.

Work has been about the same favoritism excels there.  While I get to make the delivery while the 2 buddies of the commercial  guy gets to stay around BS. Oh, well. I am out on the road listening to the radio.

Hugs,

Kymmie

Thank you @KymmieL Even my morning workout didn't wipe the smile off my face.

I hope that they are able to send the money instead of you having to make another trip. It certainly seems counter-productive to have you spend money to claim money.

I've got my AirPods in and listening to a random mix of music. Up now? Who Can It Be Now? By Men at work. Or with the men at your work place, Men (Not) at Work.

Stay strong, sweetie! Our thoughts are with you.

On the upside, maybe we can manage to see each other if you have to come back.

Hugs!

Good morning everyone,

It's another unusually warm March day here in Central Indiana. I'm putting on the Lumber-Jane duty, and safety gear to finish taking down the large Sugar Maple in the back yard. Because it's in the Northeast corner of the yard, it doesn't shade the yard, but it drops all the helicopter seeds, and leafs in the yard for me to rake. I'm to old for that! I have a 16' extension ladder that allowed me to fell/trim three smaller shoots of the tree. My son is bringing over his 28' extension ladder this afternoon, so I can reach higher up, and drop the top sections in a manor that they won't damage shared fencing between my neighbor's yard, and mine. Two weeks ago when I dropped the first sections of the tree, my neighbor said she watched from her kitchen window hoping and praying I didn't hurt myself. I said she was probably video tapping me, saying this is going to go viral... She laughed and said no, no, it was for insurance purposes only.

Hugs,

@Jackie C. Well we are looking later in the summer to go back. My wife wants to go to our property(now) up by Mio. and spread her families ashes. Maybe then we can. I am still waiting on a date for our 40th reunion. While we were in MI. she suggested that I fly. Just me.  IMHO, that would be fantastic. Then Kymmie would make an appearance in MI.  And I so would rent a convertible. :P

Good morning everyone. Early morning duties are done and my first cup of coffee is making its way into my system. Time to read the paper...and then head back to bed for an hour or so before starting the day for real. House cleaning day for us.

Anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend?

Congratulations, Heather, about the sentencing. 50 years isn't enough, imho, but it sure looks like the judge threw the book at this creep. I'm glad for you and your brother.

Oh, Heatherd. I am so happy for you, and that this creep is off the street.

Getting used to my new position. Now I don't have to answer phones or deal with customers. Now just hand my part off and I am out of there.

My wife lost her Uncle yesterday. After a 10 yr battle with the big C.

Everything is going good. Been able and remembered to change my E patches. I am going to try and keep regular. Is that sounding to girlie, great. LOL

Hugs,

Friday morning

We’ve  had a rough week.  An unplanned trip to Charleston to see a doctor.  And a couple of other things, I’m not ready to share, but I will when I know more.  So we are taking a lazy day at home.

I need to make bread today.  Each time I make it I learn another trick.  And I can tell you, temperature during kneeling and rise make a huge difference with the yeast.  Too cold, it doesn’t activate to warm kills it.  Sealing the top of the loaf before the final rise is the latest.  I wonder what I’ll learn today.  I do know I need different bread pans but I haven’t shopped for them yet.  The closest kitchen store is 20 miles from here although there is a bed bath and beyond just 6miles.  They just don’t always have the best price and quality combinations.

after I got my Endocrinologist to make this most recent change to my estradiol I feel much better.  Hot flashes are gone.  Migraines are all but gone.  Too early to know if I am going to see any body changes, and I don’t know my levels yet.  But for once he has given me a specific day of the week to get my blood drawn.  All so he can match the level to my cycle.  It will better reflect my average.

Have a good day

Excellent news.  I'm not surprised that he had a prior record.  The guy who hurt me also had a prior misdemeanor violence charge.

Hopefully 50 years will keep him away.  Since he's got a previous record, he won't be eligible for parole for a very long time, if ever.  People like that tend to mess up their parole chances by getting into more trouble inside prison.

Good morning, everyone! I've been sitting here reading and drinking coffee - if you enjoy reading I recommend The Borrower by Rebecca Makkai - and realized I'd forgotten to check in here. Ugly weather here with snow, sleet, rain, wind. Yuk.

I hope next week is a better one for you @Willow and that everything turns out OK. I'm glad that your endocrinologist is listening to your input and making the necessary changes to the dosage level. Sending you good thoughts!!

I think today will be another good day to get a fire going and just sit and read.

Stay safe and warm.

Good morning all y’all.

Someone was saying that y’all is singular and all y’all is plural.  Not too sure about that but hey! I grew up a Yankee what do I know.

So yesterday I indicated that I had some pending news.  I believe I can tell you now, I have a part-time job offer.  Yes a real one not a scam on the internet.  It would be 6 hours a day, most every weekend 4 or 5 days a week.  I can see the place from here as it is just across the highway.  Nothing glamorous but it will put some money in the bank so that I can get ahead.  Let’s face it, social security doesn’t keep up with inflation.  Dress code is easy, black or blue denim no holes and a T-shirt, comfortable shoes that cover toes and heels.  Some lifting but nothing outrageous.

Yet another beautiful day here.  73 a few cirrus clouds.  Ocean temperature is about 60 so I suppose to some of you it’s time to start going to the beach.  To me it’s got a ways to go for that.

Out here, 60s can be shorts weather for some. Not this girl. But I am cold blooded. I can sit in front of the heat vent for hours. Just enjoying the warmth. To bad our house has the vents on the ceiling.

Hugs, All

Allow me to add that people should think twice about posting pictures of themselves, with the facial recognition software that is out there.  Those in stealth or who are not fully out may discover they are suddenly and unwillingly fully out in ways they wish had not happened.

Funny how when i read the topic name i thought you were asking about the study of plants and animals.  I'm a bit into that as a farmer at va time when a cell phone makes plant  for insect identification easier than it has ever been.    Now on to your topic.  I don't farm in the nude.  I have wondered at whether i would skinny dip as i did as a kid without thought of how my body might affect others.  The effects of hormones makes me different from the average person and perhaps i'm "neither fish nor fowl".  I would certainly depend on who my fellow passengers on that cruise would be.   Hugs,   Charlize

This is also a relatively small forum and it can take a long time, seemingly, for someone to get around to replying to a post.

I am also pretty sure that several of them are folks who are "trans curious".  Sometimes folks who are trying to find their own identity, are attracted to trans folks or who are simply interested in the trans community.   There may also be some who wish to do us harm which is why ......... I've just learned to smile figuring "i'm on candid camera".   I'm sure many of our younger members never experienced that show so my age is showing.   Hugs,   Charlize

Most of those "guests" are web bots from China, Indonesia, France etc. looking us over. They are mostly benign.  All they can see or gain access to are the general forums.  Members should be careful not to post anything that could readily identify themselves such as real names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. They do not have access to our gallery, blogs or private messenger. They seem to haunt all forums. Not just us. I should add that they can make us known across the internet. That's how prospective members find us. Google would be a good example.
    • Ashley0616
I hope he gets what he deserves.

Heck I didn't even know they could go up that high! I just have a four burner and one to keep stuff warm. What kind of pies did you make?

That's all the matters.   Well me and the wife rode to Perkins for breakfast. As we were waiting for our food. Being it is Sunday There are a few gentleman in suits, my guess from church. I think to myself. I hope I never have to wear one of those monkey suits ever again. Now a nice dress maybe.   Hugs,   Kymmie

From time to time I've looked at 'Who Is Online" and I have consistently noticed that members are ALWAYS outnumbered by Guests by a wide margin, sometimes, like a minute ago, by more than a 10:1 margin.  I have never seen that before on an internet forum.  It can be explained partly by the nature of what this is, that it draws the curious and they are certainly welcome to read here, and to join, but it leaves me with a feeling of being in a fishbowl.  I wonder who ARE these people?  Donald Trump, is that you? Biden? Sinwar? Putin?  We can only guess.
    • DawnD
So from time to time my brain gets a hold of information and puts it together with other information in weird way that get me thinking. I was reading about a nudes cruise that they are running out if Miami. It got me thinking that a transgendered person who is also a naturalist, has to be one of the most unlucky people alive. How does one manage that and does that ever come up? Not trying to make fun here, just genuinely curious. Things that make you go hmmmm....
    • MaeBe
No luck there, really. She's getting a signing bonus plus a little extra that I don't think would cover much in the way of the move, but it is something!   Oh my! I am glad to hear you're not passing anymore blood. I hope they figure it out soon! How distressing!   @April Marie @KymmieL @Mirrabooka @Willow @Justine76, thank you for the kind words and thoughts! We told our best friends last night. There were many tears. Now it's all about the work: selling the house (my wife's friend's son said he may want to buy it direct!), a job (a former employee of mine wants to bring me over to his company--and they're based outside of Tacoma!), and moving (just started going through what we don't want bring and donating things). So things have kicked off.   I'm not so sure of the job, it would be good to work with my former employee (he's great) but I fear the culture may not be super welcoming to someone like me--and the guy doesn't know I'm trans in any way. But I'll give it a shot as my authentic self and see what happens!
    • Ashley0616
@LadypcnjI'm sorry. I know the feeling my mom thinks I'm going through a phase too although I didn't come out till April 17, 2023, so it was later in life. I was in denial majority of my life. I would love to hear more about this if you are comfortable sharing more of it.

I love fashion. I have over 100 dresses and 74 pairs of shoes. My walk-in closet is full of other clothes as well. I'm getting more shorts soon. SHEIN is awesome for quality and price. Just when you get a leather coat from them it's just the shell not the liner. Most of my shoes are from Torrid because I wear size 13 women's.
