Hun, I was teased, bullied, abused growing up with gynecomastia and was “only” about an A cup, but it was enough for boys to have open season on me.

You are starting out a whole cup size larger than I ended up with HRT. Good for you!

I am a small frame, however. 5’ 6 1/2”  135 lbs.  Another reason I was tormented growing up as a boy.

SamC, sis! I totally understand how you feel about being a runt. I'm 5' 5" 152 lbs. and had gynecomastia all my life. I'm glad to have found this group.

Well we are now the proud owners of a 2023 Ford Expedition XLT. It is a pretty white. It'll take me a month to learn about all the buttons on it.

The process was painless, only had to wait about 1 1/2 hours from start to driving it off the lot. So it is going to be a comfy drive to Michigan next week.

Hugs,

Fox are gorgeous animals.  I have a fox who has regularly visited me for 5 years. I feed him, but never try to tame.  He has this wondrous personality. We first met when he was dying from mange.  I treated him with ivermectin and now he is “my fox” for life.  So, you must be a wondrous creature, too.

I love the image of you in the kitchen; it may be simple to you, but it is heartwarming to everyone else

Thanks, Sam 😊. Never exactly thought of myself as a wondrous creature... Usually just an odd one. 🤭. Cool that you have a visiting fox!  We have a gray fox that lives in our barn.  She's shy and scampers away from people, but hangs out with the cats.

Yep, kitchen times are pretty mundane for me.  Part of life on a farm with a massive family.  I like making stuff for the kids.  I can't bear children of my own, but my partners have more than enough for me to spoil.  I'm probably not a great parent, but I like to think I can be useful.

Thank you very much, Birdie! ♥️

It’s a picture I took when I was 20 lbs heavier and started trying on my wife’s house dress. (I dressed it up with a belt. 😁)

Good morning, everyone!!! Heading in for my 3rd cup of coffee and just finally catching up here and ready to read the paper.

Happy 4th of July to the USA crowd - and a very special Happy Birthday to @SamC!

No plans for today. We have rain in the forecast so probably no pool time. We're going to cook burgers on the grill, have corn on the cob and potato salad for dinner.

Be safe, be happy and look for the goodness in this beautiful day we've been given.

And, as George Washington said so many years ago......."Hold my beer."

I'm still on my first cuppa coffee, and taking it very slow and easy today!

Stay safe!

Oh, I suspect others see you as wondrous.   Your grey fox is so wondrous, she can even climb like a cat

Good Morning and Happy Birthday America. Happy 4th of July, everyone. It was nice at 4am when I did a potty break for Oreo. When I got up at 7am Rain and ominous skies to the west. So much for taking a nice ride in the new truck today. May anyway

One thing I forgot to mention yesterday. We had a very nice young lady for our Salesperson. After our test drive, when I gave her back the dealer plate, She said, "Thank you, Ma'am" to me. felt good.

Hugs, To all.

Good morning Y’all

i hope everyone still has all the same body parts today as they had yesterday.  Unless, of course, someone had a surgery yesterday.

I was off yesterday and today. We spent a good bit of time at the pool yesterday and intend to try going to the beach today.

congratulations on your new car @KymmieL.  Very true, nothing like a new car or new to you.

Good morning, everyone!

We went out and played 9 holes of golf this morning - that's about all my hip could take. It's hot and humid here but we need to get some work done so we'll be taking down some old fencing that I've wanted to pull out - a benefit of having relatives here.

Then, it's pool time. I'm interested in hearing everyone's bathing suit recommendations.

Be safe and remember to look for the goodness in this beautiful day we've been given.

Hopefully everybody had a happy Independence Day (for those who are in the USA).

In my community, there was so much to do. A big community lunch, a parade, and the annual reading of the Declaration of Independence.  And of course we have the ball and fireworks in the evening. My partner looked so amazing in her dress! I was glad that we put a lot of work into it, because I hadn't realized that she would need to stand in something called a "receiving line." Old fashioned Southern etiquette like that wasn't part of my upbringing (now I know more about my GF was a bit uncomfortable with it 😏). Overall, it was really fun and I'm glad that I went.

Well today was a productive day. I got my son into see the dentist for cleaning it turns out he needs four fillings. After that I was able to get a key cut and programed for the Toyota Corolla S. I got the key online and then it turned that the fob part doesn't work. I'm going to get another key done next month so I can have working buttons. It's nice to have a working back up car. I have always tried to have a back up car just in case. My other is a 2009 Ford Taurus X.

Same here.  My mind is a jumbled mess.  I'm no great philosopher, nor particularly educated.  Don't open my brain's closet, as all the junk might come tumbling out.

Its been a long day.  I had a good trip with my husband, kind of sorry I had to come home.  I mean, I love my partners, but I feel overwhelmed by the chaos at times.  It was nice being able to just drive and talk for two days, and not feel rushed at meals.  Stopped at a buffet off I-40 in Oklahoma, and I was able to nibble comfortably for two hours!  And taking a shower in a place where I don't have to bother hanging up the towels for later   Its all about the little things....

Hi @AmandaJoy Welcome, and nice to meet you! Congratulations on your Self-Affirmation!  As you've already discovered you're in great company here on this Forum.  It took me 60+ years also.   I understand your thrill and desire to proceed full-steam-ahead but that you've already realized to meter your Journey.  So, I will just end with what I tell most new Members when they arrive ... Deep breaths ... One step at a time

Hey @KayC I need another tutorial session on this place with you.  Maybe we can talk on Discord or the phone and I can share my screen and do a few messages while Asking you some questions about how this place is organized. How are you doing in the real world?? ... "real world" ???  What is this "real world" of which you speak?
    • Michelle_S
@VickySGV Ha!  Finally figured THAT out!  Though I hate to confess just how long it took me to figure out WHERE to begin typing that "@" sign.  (So I just won't confess it!  ... giggles) I am not sure how private this message to you is ... for example I was going to make a guess about your location (you say near a major earthquake fault) and while there are many places in CA which fit that description, I live near one as well. But I am not sure if being asked that in a public forum is something you want, and I don't know if I am talking publicly or privately right now.  (So, obviously, till I learn what is what, I treat EVERYTHING as public). I think Kay might have already told me about the "@" sign but I forgot ... Guess I have blonde roots ... (I'm actually a Brunette ... Grey but the box keeps me a brunette ... still the number of mistakes I make and how slow I am with learning things constantly reminds me that I must be blonde on the inside!!  ... giggles)

@KymmieL do they have you on anti depressants?  Are they certain they are the right ones for you?  Has a psychiatrist been involved?  My physician first put me on an anti depressant and when things got worse for me he added one that was the initial cause of my cancer.  My therapist recommended I had a different need changed things. My psychiatrist agreed with the particular underlying condition and the choice of medications.   everyone is different but if one medication isn’t working there are many different types and different underlying conditions that require different treatments.  No meds mentioned because what didn’t work and what did all depends on your case, not mine.   Willow

To me loving myself means having the courage to live the way I want and to be me.     I hardly ever really like how I look but I feel good knowing I am trying to be the best version of myself that I can be. It is definitely a struggle sometimes though.  💗Cynthia

I had a five hour road trip today.  I’m trying to grow my hair out so I just pushed it back with a pink hair band, lipstick and gloss, no makeup.    White spaghetti strap top, short black skirt, white sandals with pink toenails!  A couple of rings and bracelets, necklace and hoop earrings.   I felt like a hot mess but it’s my favorite way to travel!

Glad you had a good day, @Willow Mine on the other hand sucked. I have been screwing up again, I even got written up. I may have to educate them on major depression and disability. not that it will work.    OH, well. May be another job I lost because of me. Yes, my depression is about down at the magma level   Kym

This bag is really working out for me.  I had worn out the back on my yin-yang bag so I picked this one up.  It wasn't long before I cut off the flap on it and braided a hemp strap for it.  The zipper is the best feature.  I can spin the bag around and I'm not afraid of losing anything.  I've taught myself to keep all the essential things in it and nothing more.  Here is what made the cut:   Notepad Sharpie Ballpoint Pen Teaspoon Glasses Phone (most of the time) Wired Headphones and/or Bluetooth Carmex and/or Lipstick Flash Drive Current Braiding Project Wallet Hair Clip   And on my keys I have my one inch Swiss Army Knife with scissors and a bottle opener that I like using with mason jar lids.   I don't miss pockets at all now.  The bag is fun and practical.  I can set it on the ground to get everything off my body.  If I need something, I'm looking for a fairly large object.  I always have something to work on with the braiding project.
