Yeah, I've found it way too often. It's too bad that the excess weight doesn't come off as easy as it went on. 🤨

Going to the store has been really tough lately. All the new clothes are coming out now. If only my wallet was as big as my eyes. 😖

I went with a slightly different style today. Still black though. I think I found my limit on heel height too. They're almost 6 inches tall.

My weight is a constant battle, I’ve kinda stayed around a size 16-18 over the last 12 months and feel comfortable. As you say it goes on much easier than it comes off.
that said, I’m a curvy girl and like to wear my bikini on holidays.big thumbs up to the bigger ladies amongst us 😁

Good morning everyone! I finally came out recently and have started experimenting with more gender affirming looks, like a little bit of makeup (eyeliner, mascara and lip crayon) and women's shirts, etc in public and am really feeling more like my true self. I am calling to make my initial appointment today to establish care with a gender care services MD that will start my journey to transitioning. I still don't know what all I plan to do, but at least I'm taking the first few steps finally. I hope you all have a blessed day! ❤️

took three tries this morning to find something that worked with the boots.  I find myself saying " I want to wear this (insert garment)" and then I go through combos looking for the right look with that particular garment. This morning I thought I wanted to wear a specific pair of pants with my boots but it didn't work, then chaos ensued until this combo was found.

I like the color combination, but I feel like it needs something. I'm not sure what that something is, but I feel like it's missing something. Curious about the necklace too. It looks lovely and I want a closer look.

Hugs!

I like that! I'm a fan of dragonfly-shaped sparklies. It might be that something about the cut doesn't really compliment your body-type. There was a whole class on it at Keystone. The presenter was fascinating and we talked for a couple hours afterwards.

She also talked me into a convertible, padded, push-up bra which just BARELY comes in my size. We'll see what that does for me the next time I go clubbing (next week).

Hugs!

Good afternoon Vanessa,

It's good to see you putting a face to the text. Your only limit is you. You can go as far as you choose to go.

Best wishes, stay positive, and safe,

Scored big at the consignment shop today. Daily pics will follow but for tonight's wine happy hour I'm wearing this great new pencil skirt and crop "blazer" with the same mock wrap top I was wearing earlier today (and the boots).

Going to be awkward tonight though, I'm finally meeting my ex's boy toy. lol

Doesn't have to be awkward. Just give him a big kiss first thing to establish dominance.

At the very least it will be awkward on your terms. 😉

Hugs!

@Vanessa Michelle Congrats on starting the process. Those little baby steps are so important! I started with under layers and have progressed to jeans and tees when still needing to present male, where I am even a little makeup or nail colouring would not go over well!

I am so jealous of your hair @Lenneth Salon experiences are one of those things I am not likely to ever have, I hope you enjoyed it!

@Bri2020 I agree with Jackie! go in for a hug or the continental cheek kiss and do the meet on your own terms. 😉😗 BTW You always look so well put together. :)

Thanks for all the encouragement everyone. I did not kiss him but I was very cordial and honestly, he's a pretty nice guy so I'm happy for her.  I think she was feeling more awkward the more he and I talked and got along and "compared" some notes. lol

In the end all good.

This is from Wednesday. a jacket I got from my shopping trip. Asymmetric zipper "moto" style. I fricken love it.  even has usable pockets. It was brand new with tags -name brand, only $39. I love thrifting/consigning

This happens to me a lot.  More often than not, I end up ditching the item I was trying to make work for a new look that emerges in the process.

I see a missing scarf on this one... looks great though.  Nice bag too!  Lots of nice outfits lately Bri.

Your hair looks terrific @Lenneth.

Quite true.  The amusing thing about opposites is how similar they can be.   My family left Greece because of the conflict between the communists and the militarists/fascists.

This wouldn't even be a problem if they would just leave us alone.  It is a no-brainer.
    • Ivy
OMG.  I'm glad it wasn't worse, and you were able to get on it quickly.  Lots of blood can be scary.

Like I said, I'm no tankie, but I do see a world of difference between Joseph Stalin and Bernie Sanders.   If the point is not wanting 'government control' the Right is pretty good at that themselves - as they've been demonstrating lately. This stuff gets complicated.

So, I am curious. Is the Governor going to mandate vaginal or penile recognition photos before one enters the restroom? Considering the Governor has no balls to do the right thing, will he have to pee against a tree outside? Inquiring minds would like to know. I love it when the job recruiters contact me about the wonderful jobs available in Oklahoma. It is so much fun telling them there is no way I will ever go to Oklahoma. When there are no workers, then they can shutter the place.

Ngl, probably Sonic the Hedgehog, the Beatles, or the Monkees. Those are the three subjects I know the most about so I could drop hours of info on them.

Thank you! I'm out of coffee so I have been drinking hot tea instead. Looking forward to the 1st. It's crazy that we are almost in May. This year has flown by really quick! Good to hear that y'all got to sleep in. Hope you have a good weekend too!
    • Ashley0616
It's nice to care about others but you need to live your life as you please. No one be your only source of happiness. Love yourself and don't look back. I lost over 40 family members it hurts but apparently, they didn't truly love me. True love will always be there through the thick and thin. I can honestly say that HRT has made me think in ways that I never thought I would. I get myself some shoes or clothes every month because retail therapy not only helps but it is a reward to myself to show love. I have over 100 dresses. I have a whole walk-in-closet full of clothes and 67 pairs of shoes. I love who I am. I was born in 84 so not all people in the 80's think that way. As far as the name just take your time and be happy with it. I knew I loved the name Ashley. Take care and welcome!

Congratulations Sam,   The common saying her once someone starts HRT is: “Enjoy the ride.”   Best wishes, stay positive and motivated    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

WOW @Ashley0616 it’s good that you have skills to treat traumatic injuries, as well as the ability to remain calm while managing others needs to get yourself and the boys ready to go to the hospital. Proud mama bear skills. I’m glad that he’s doing well.    Meanwhile back at the ranch, we slept in and I’m just now finishing my 3rd cup of coffee.    Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Well yesterday was not fun. I was getting ready to make dinner and I hear screaming and crying. I look over and my son put his foot through glass. He gashed near his Achilles tendon. Thankfully that is intact. I didn't freeze for a second. All of my military training came into play. I doctored him up and got Jett ready and myself and we headed to the ER. He is doing ok today. He says he is in pain but doesn't need Tylenol. He is a tough cookie!

Hi,   It's seems today is my trans birthday.  I'm beyond excited. Just picked up my testogel from the pharmacy. Although I naturally have doubts as I'm sure do we all, they are rapidly disappearing. Yesterday I was so nervous I kept claiming I'm not trans, despite grinning like a fool knowing I can pick up my prescription the next day. I'm shaking and on the verge of happy tears. I will put on my first sachet this eve. Thanks so much to this forum and kind words from people. This is the first forum I found when I began seriously questioning.
